Lanzarote

Greetings from Lanzarote! If you've followed me on my instagram, you've noticed that we're vacationing in Lanzarote, one of the canary islands. This is a perfect place to vacation as a family with great beaches, playgrounds and great food. Not a party place, at least not this time of year but hey, we're not here to party ;) All in all, we brought our double stroller, this time mountain buggy duet and it works just fine here - streets are wide enough for them. Except for one thing..my older, 3.5 year old just decided he's done sitting in a stroller!! And done with naps too :) anyway, both kids go to bed at 7.30 pm so basically us parents have some time for each other - only if we werent too tired at night :D Grocery shops at good here: you can buy everything from diapers to babyfood, and we've also cooked here a few times. Fresh fruits for breakfast, love it! Weather has been awesome, sunny almost every day so now we have enough energy to go back home. Until

Hauck Duett 2 double stroller

Image
Hello everyone! Sun is shining and I'm about to go out for a long walk since my little guy just fell asleep to an early nap. So a while ago I wrote about double stroller which is a topic close to me because as a mother of two wild boys, I need to have a seat for them every now and then. I'm a big fan of double strollers that have seats next to each other (like Bugaboo donkey duo or Easywalker duo have) but I don't like their width. It's almost impossible to go anywhere with them, especially to a bus so I had to change them to a Phil & Teds strollers which is super narrow but I just don't like them at all. Why? Because kids here in winter wonderland tend to have to wear lot's of clothing so it's almost impossible to put them in the stroller - especially the one sitting in the lower seat. So I googled, once again, and happened to find this one: Hauck Duett 2 . It sorta reminds me of Babyjogger city select but is lot of cheaper than that one. Check out

Babywearing with a toddler in a Vero Moda wool jacket

Image
Sunny but cold wednesday to you all! It's getting colder here in Finland but today we're experiencing something different: sunshine. It's supposed to snow tomorrow, brrr, so I had to go and buy new clothes for me and my kids. I still carry my younger son every now and then, so I decided I'm not gonna buy a babywearing jacket (because they're so expensive) but I do need something that can occasionally fit my child in it. And just like that, I found a perfect winter coat with wool-blend in it and in a nice grey colour (in one of those 50 shades of grey, hahaa..anyway)! This one, of which I posted a pic on my instagram account, fits almost perfectly over me and my little one. I mean, my little one is already 1year and 4 months old, and it still fits us :) The best part in this jacket is that it has a cover over my neck/between me and my baby so no wind can go under my jacket and freeze us. That's what even most babywearing jacket don't have (and I've had

Getting ready for work and shopping online

Hey everyone! It's (again) been so long since I've written the last time and all I gotta say, time flies :) My littlest guy is very active and energetic whenever he's up so me-time is kinda limited these days. Not that I'm complaining - I love every second of it and especially because soon my days as a stay-at-home mom are over since I'll be going back to work: either next month or in January the very latest. My littlest guy will start at the same day-care center his older son goes to (yay!) and we'll start practicing early next month. Yikes!! I know, he's officially a toddler already but he'll (just like his older brother) will always be my babies <3 So what else is new? Other than going back to work and learning how to wear clothes other than sweatpants :D That obviously means shopping for new clothes and what else is better for busy moms than shopping online . I mean, you can always go to the mall and shop there but if you have two kids with y

Battle of the double-strollers and the winner is..

Hey y'all! As the title reveals, I've been - once again - on a hunt for the perfect double-stroller. I know, I've been blogging about it for ages and switched and then went back and forth...several times. Anyway, long story short, my favorite of them all is Easywalker duo . I've tried Bugaboo donkey duo , Mountain buggy duet , and many different versions/models of Phil & Teds . These all are great ones but my criteria why Easywalker won this battle are: - Kids sit next to each other (that rules out P&T models) - it's narrow enough to fit main doors (about 75 cm wide, 100 cm long) - it has big tires (this rules out Mountain Buggy duet) - it costs from 100-300€ as second hand (this rules out Bugaboo donkey duo, for an obvious reason) - it's roomy for even a bigger kid - my now 3,5 year old didn't fit in a Bugaboo donkey duo And that is all! What really is important to me is that my kids fit in the stroller, is easy to push (has an adjustable ha

Baby learned to sleep through the night

Good morning! I've been up since 5.50 am, thanks to the fact our baby/little toddler finally learned to sleep in his own bed (yay!) so I sleep really well now, too. No more tossing and turning in the night and wake up super tired in the morning. This is awesome! A little over a year ago I posted a blog about our older child and how he didn't sleep that well so we had to go through a sleeping school . Well, that worked for some time (he was 11 months when we went to sleeping school) but he went back to his old, bad habits of not sleeping at night when he was around 1,5-2 year old. So that's why I was a bit worried of how I'd cope with it with a new baby but it turned out babies can be totally different. Our little guy, aka baby, learned to sleep in his own bed, from 9pm-6am in just 3 nights!! I'm still a bit surprised, in a good way of course, that how easily that transformation from sleeping in our bed to sleeping through the night in his own bed went. I think

New wheeled board from Lekmer

Hello! Time flies and it's already mid-august. As many of you've noticed, I've been addicted to strollers and especially to double strollers - and I've switched those many many times :) Now that my older son is at the day care during naptime - which was the only reason I chose to keep those and switch for a stroller and wheeled board -combo for good - we really don't need one anymore. Basically, we just use our old Emmaljunga Nitro City all the time and our double stroller, Phil & Teds Vibe, spends a lot of time alone. So, that means it's time to shop :) Lekmer has a really good selection of wheeled boards, especially the one with a seat, and the cheapest one I found on the market. Bumprider sit , that is. I know, I had this one before and it didn't quite work at that time because my older son was just too young for it. Now that he's starting to skip naptime during the weekends but needs a seat every now and then, I decided it's time to orde

Best of Sunny Beach, Bulgaria

Image
Hi you all! It's been so long since I wrote the last time so I decided now's the perfect time for that :) We've been back from Sunny Beach , Bulgaria for 2 weeks already and we're finally getting back to the normal life. Our trip there was fantastic - great weather, good food and kids loved plus we all stayed healthy that whole trip - but it was exhausting at the same time. Travelling with two little ones can be that but overall it was a good trip and I can highly recommend it for everyone. Life is a beach - beach life :) Food is good and the portions are big enough (our restaurant bill varied from 30-50 BGN which is roughly divided by 2 in euros - cheap!) And those restaurant bills always included drinks (beer, wine and huge juice for our toddler). I think I only spent 360€ in two weeks, not bad at all! Food! The beaches are nice too and safe enough for little swimmers to go to. Some parts of the beach had quite big waves but we always headed towards

Sunny beach

Greetings from sunny beach, Bulgaria! Our first week is already behind us and 6 more days to go :) kids love it - the beach is great if you go little further away from all the noisy people, people love kids and they have playgrounds is most restaurants and food is amazing. More later, beach is calling :) happy weekend, everyone!

An extra discount code at Pinkorblue and getting ready for midsummer

Hey everyone! It's been a while since I wrote last time but you know - life's hectic with two kids :) It's midsummer here in Finland and it was pouring just an hour ago! And now it's sunny again. Weird weather, I say. As always, I'm thinking about our summer vacation and still debating on which stroller we're taking with us. As for now, there's a really good deal going on at Pinkorblue meaning they have a 7% discount code on already discounted products. It's not valid for every single product (check out the link) but for the most part it's a great one. For example, they have Baby jogger city tour stroller (similar in size with Babyzen yoyo or Mountain Buggy Nano) for 295€ (certain colours) plus you'll get that 7% off. Great deal, I think! Okay, once I get in to writing mode, my youngest son - who by the way turned 1 year old - needs me asap. So I got to go. Thank god I have a massage tonight cause my poor back is hurting again - even thoug

Introducing inexpensive Carena Kobbe Lux travel stroller

Image
You know me and my never ending journey to find that perfect, smaller than smallest, travel stroller. I've tried a few so I'm kinda hesitating on ordering a new one so my journey continues. The bottom line is that I'm not gonna spend more than 300€ for this stroller so that kinda limits my search - all the best ones do cost more than that. Then I found this one, Carena Kobbe Lux travel stroller, as I went through the selection of Lekmer. This one, a lux one (they do have a cheaper basic one but I like this colour better) has: - a handle bar for the kid, - a faux leather handle bar for the one pushing the stroller, - it doesn't weigh a lot (6,9 kg), - it's small in size (as folded) 52,5 x 45,5 x 23,5 cm (you can basically take this in the airplane with you, as handluggage that is) - a child up to 18kg is able to use it (compared to most travel strollers with a weigh limit of 15 kg) - it's handle-bar is 104 cm (compared to Mountain buggy nano  which is 98c

Summer vacation in Sunny Beach, Bulgaria

We've finally agreed on our summer vacation and our destination will be Sunny Beach in Bulgaria :) We really went through all the options out there but realized we don't anything else than a good hotel (a decent one is not an option with 2 kids) that has activities for kids and adults too, walking distance from the beach, a mall and sun. Not too much sun, of course even though it might get super warm here too. And we're sorta on a budget this summer since I'm not working currently so saving money on something is a big bonus. The hotels we looked for, do need to have a playground for kids, restaurant(s) and they do need to offer a shuttle service to/from the airport. We also need a bigger hotelroom so the kids have enough room to play and a small kitchen area to prepare breakfast and snacks for the kids if they need. A microwave is a must since I need to warm the milk for my baby and prepare morning and evening porridge for him as well. We also decided we're gonna

What kind of travel stroller should I pick?

Image
Good morning! Summer is finally here, or at least june is. We still had some rain last week and are supposed to have it today too, but tomorrow should be better what comes to weather. I still have my hopes that summer and warm weather will get here too! Talk about summer and upcoming trips too, I'm in a hopeless journey of finding one more new umbrella/small travel stroller. We do have a travel stroller (Britax b agile) that we bought in 2014 and it still functions quite well after all our trips. But it wont seat two kids, that's for sure so on our last trip to Crete we actually had our double stroller, Phil and Teds Navigator, with us. Ok, it was a good idea to have it with us because it's sorta like a travel stroller for two kids and we do need it because our toddler still sleeps during the day and a stroller works just fine for that. Actually, they both take their nap at the same time so it was perfect in that trip. But then again, this stroller is kinda heavy and bi

What sells second hand and how to sell it

Hello, long time no see! :) It's been a while since I wrote last time and that's just because time is kinda short these days with a crazy toddler and almost-walking baby, aka almost toddler (yikes!) So when I actually have time just for me, I tend to stare at the wall and not do anything for good 10 minutes :D Sounds bad but it certainly isn't as I truly enjoy this stage of life. As many of you know, I love second hand shopping and selling my stuff as well. Especially kids stuff, namely strollers, babywearing stuff and clothes every now and then. So what sells? That's a good question and as I don't have an answer to that, I do have some good pointers and here's my list: Strollers . If they're brand names, such as Bugaboo or Babyzen (especially yoyo) - brands "everyone's talking about" - it's always easy to sell them. Of course, what counts are, are they still in good shape, kept in the house (no mold in it, please), how old they are (q

MiniInTheBox, disount codes and suffering from a backache

Hello! Finally - the sun :) I mean, what kind of may have we had so far? We still had snow yesterday, and that's crazy! Hey have you guys heard of MiniInTheBox ? Well, at least I hadn't so I went and checked their web site and boy - they have so much stuff!! Basically if you need to buy a present for a low price, find cool accessories for your next trip or you own a small shop, then this site is definitely for you. Lots and lots of stuff from A to Z. They deliver worldwide and you can choose your own language on their site which is nice so check it out! Mother's day is also coming up, and Boozt has a special discount on items with a label "TreatTime". So you save up to 20% on for example selected womens dresses or men and kids shirts. Discount ends on sunday, may 14th. Today I'll finally go and join the local gym. I, once again, hurt my back by picking up my toddler yesterday. I really need to start doing some regular exercise because I really need my

Discount code from Lekmer and introducing Moweo Compact Fly travel stroller

Image
Hey everyone! What a few days it's been. First we had (almost) summer last saturday and then all of sudden we has snow yesterday! And it's may! This weather is crazy :) So what do I always do when the weather sucks? I shop. And boy have I shopped lately (oops!) from babywearing accessories (new ring sling, manduca..) to new travel strollers from Jollyroom. I will post about these later and if you're into shopping as well, check out this discount code from Lekmer . They have some great stuff, basically anything you need for your little ones, and this discount code is valid until 1st of June, 2017. New stroller from Jollyroom So I'm getting ready for this summer - even though I don't even know if we're going travelling anywhere and yet I already bought a new stroller! :D No really, lately I've been carrying my baby in my Tula baby carrier (which I bought lately as well, loving it) and my older son really doesn't need a stroller anymore, except when

Baby gear from Pinkorblue

Image
Good morning, everyone! What a lovely sunshine we have :) After all the rain and snow we still had this past weekend, it's finally time to welcome spring and eventually summer to Finland :) Yesterday kids and I spent 3 hours outdoors playing and biking, and it did warm up to 15 degrees which is a lot in here. This week it's supposed to get to 20 degrees, yay! And not only do I like the sun I also need the sun: baby and I woke up at 4.30 am this morning and the only way I managed to put him back to sleep was to put him in my Tula baby carrier. I can say he slept like a baby but it's kinda hard for me to sleep then, right?! Strong coffee for me today, thank you very much :D So as summer is getting closer and closer, and everyone's doing their preps for summer holiday, it's time to introduce yet another interesting online store for you guys: Pinkorblue . They have a great selection of strollers, baby carriers/slings, clothes, furniture and many many other things. T

Vappu in Finland and a tip :)

Image
Vappu This weekend is gonna be so much fun since we have monday off due to Vappu celebrations here in Finland. Lot's of things to do for young and old all weekend long, and a real carnival thing going on :) If you're planning on staying somewhere (Helsinki, Espoo or some other cities here in Finland) over night and avoiding the public transportation/long taxi lines, you can always book a hotel room . Then there's no rush to leave a party at night, you can sleep in (unless you're travelling with kids!) and enjoy a nice buffet breakfast. Yum! On monday, which is a national day off (at least for most finns), people usually go to a picnic  (sorry, that link is only in finnish). Either in Helsinki or just at their own home in a terrace or a nearby park. Don't forget to wear your high school graduation hat! :) Okay, as soon as I start writing my baby wants to go to bed so I better go now. Have a great weekend and enjoy Vappu in you're in Finland! :)

Planning on our summer vacation

Image
Hello everyone! Just as I've only been back to Finland for 3 days, I'm already planning on our next trip - our summer vacation. I also posted a pic on my instagram to show what it looks like here in Finland :) You see why I need to back somewhere warm? Besides - dreaming is half the journey, right? One of the beaches near Kato Stalos, Crete in april, 2017 Anywho, I started to look for our next destination and have no clue, where we should go. Travelling with kids can be tough but I just love that warm weather and looong sand beaches so why not. Here are some travel agencies that have the best deals I've found so far - some are operated only in Finland: top10matkatarjoukset Matkapörssi booking So we loved crete and I kinda wanna go back to Greece even though it's gonna be very hot in july. I looked for Zakynthos but on the other hand Croatia sounds like a place I'd like to visit and I haven't visited there before. Our usual one is Pärnu in Eston

Back from Crete and my thoughts on the holiday :)

Hey everyone! It's been a while because I was on a vacation with my family in Crete :) Wonderful holiday with perfect weather, the sun, the sand, the beaches..the food and the people. Go there if you like all those :) Everything went well even though I had my fears of travelling with two little ones. Will they get sick? Will they sleep or eat there? No worries, really. I packed all the baby food already here in Finland and I'm glad I did because not of the stores in Crete had baby food! Yeah, it wasn't quite the season yet so they didn't have any and my little one eats like a big boy. Diapers? Yes, they have those in every store but I still had everything ready so we didn't need to buy any. Clothes? I always have too many and you just don't really need that many clothes anyway cause you spend all your holiday at the beach. We we're lucky - we only had one rainy day. Only thing you really need to make sure when travelling with little ones are snacks on th

New clothes for kids and one tired mama

Image
Good morning! What a night we had..our baby is finally (night 2) learning to sleep in his own bed instead of sleeping next to me, and last night he did sleep until 3.30 am. But what a nightmare after that: screaming and crying for half an hour, which felt like eternity at that time :( Luckily he did go back to sleep after that and I did too. Cannot wait to sleep all night - one of these days, I'm sure :) But I gotta say - I'm one tired mama :D Everytime I'm tired (ok, almost daily), I need to shop. That kinda makes me feel better. I posted about Aarrekid a while ago on February which is a finnish children's clothing brand. They have the cutest clothes for little ones and after this looong winter it's nice to buy new stuff for your little ones. You know, something lighter and brighter. This is definitely something you should look out for if you're in need of new clothes :) Okay, it's time to go outside where it's raining (boring!) and go do grocery

DIY handlebar cover and discount code for sunglasses @Lenson

Image
Hey there! Time flies, it's already april! In less than 2 weeks me and my family will be in Greece for a week!! I just cannot wait. Even though I do have so much to do before flying there, such as buying swimsuits and other summer gear for my toddler (nothing fits from last summer :(), baby food for my baby, new sunglasses for me.. Yeah, that link goes to Lenson and that's a discount code - 10% off (SUNNYSALE) for their sunglasses. It's beginning to be that time again when you really need to invest on good pair of sunglasses since the sun is showing again. Or if not in your country but at least if you're travelling somewhere sunny and warm, then you'll need a pair for sure :) So check it out! I also changed my double stroller, again, to a Phil and Teds Navigator. Why? Because I wanted to have a really small stroller that would also have a seat for my 3 year old if he wants to sit on it every now and then, and he also naps in it occasionally. I did like my previ

Spring is on its way and in need of new shoes from Lekmer!

Hello there! I know, it's been a while since I wrote last time but we've been really sick this past month with flu, stomach flu and then I hurt my back big time a week ago. So glad this month is almost over - time to move on to spring!! And it's definitely here with almost all the snow gone and sunny almost daily and also it's getting warmer. Next week we're going back to 8-12 routine with my toddler at his daycare. This 3 days a week just didn't work at all. He tends to forget his daycare and it's been so hard to take him there those days and he doesn't like to be there for that long everyday. I'm glad this daycare is so flexible that they would go back to this. Spring also means new clothes and shoes, at least for us. I was so sure all of our shoes from last season would fit (to our toddler) but I was completely wrong! So this means shopping, and Lekmer has a new campaign until april 4, 2017 on shoes so check it out if need new ones! They usua

At home with sick kids and shopping @Sarenza

Hey everyone! What a week it's been! First my toddler got sick with a flu, and now my youngest son seems like catching it as well :( We were supposed to go to Tallinn, Estonia this past friday but I had to cancel it due to sickness. No wonder kids get sick so often since the weather is so weird: one day it's warm and sunny, and the next day it rains and is just miserable. Just check my instagram pics and you'll see :) So what is there to do while you're stuck at home with sick kids and really can't go outside? Shopping. At Sarenza   they have all these deals for shoes (especially for Puma at the moment) but also bags and other accessories. So check it out if you're stuck as well and want to find something new for spring for good price :) Luckily my toddler seems to be getting better so maybe we can attend our music play school tomorrow at the local church. We just started last week and both my toddler and my baby liked it a lot. I'm really hoping we c

My toddler turned 3

How fast time flies?! I mean, my toddler just turned 3 last week and we basically celebrated all week. We had an actual b-day party on saturday with close family and everything went well (even the cake I baked!!) except for the fact that my baby got sick. Ear-infection, ouch :( Poor little guy - he's got a runny nose and he keeps coughing all night long. He even has antibiotics for a week and clearly they're already working since he slept just a bit better last night. I'm hoping I'm not getting it since taking care of two little ones is hectic enough so with a flu it would be just too much. So just a few words of the b-day party..I did bake a cake. By myself. I asked my toddler what he wanted and he wanted a car-cake. Just like last year ! Expect that I actually made a cake that looked like a car - this year I 'cheated' and made just a regular cake and bought one these to put on top of the cake. Easy! And everyone liked my cake, especially my little one. Unfo

Shopping at CDON.COM

Image
Hey everyone! Our wintervacation is getting to its end and actually today I'm at home just with my baby - toddler is at grandparents overnight and to be honest, this kinda feels like a vacation to me too :D Only one child at home, who's sleeping at the moment. Sometimes these moments are the best - although, I have to say, I miss my toddler like hell. Mixed feelings, huh?! Anyway, I usually just open my laptop (start blogging etc.) or I'll shop. This time I noticed all the wonderful offers at CDON   which is kinda a department store online. They have everything from books to toys and other baby gear, and at the moment they have this campaign called '5 day deals' until 2/27 (no shipping fees when delivered to Finland). Check out their webpage for more information. For example, I found this Thule Urban Glide 2   jogging stroller for two for sale at 571,95€. Spring is almost here so it's time to start jogging again! Another interesting I found is an Easy Rider

New purse from Boozt

Yesterday I introduced Aarrekid children's brand to you if you're in need of new children's clothes. Today I decided I'll order a new bag from Boozt since my current one from Guess is kinda worn out and it just doesn't work for me anymore. I need a cross-body that's not too small but not too big either - it needs to that perfect size that can hold my wallet, phone, keys and something else too. A diaper, maybe? :) I found this  purse  from Rebecca Minkoff which has the purses I just love :) This one is also on sale now, only 152€ (plus shipping) so that's affordable for now. I need a purse that can be easy to take with me when I'm on the go with the kids. Not too 'blingy' since I'm always wearing sweatpants and sneakers but instead something rather classical with a little twist, you know. This one has these zips and it's a cross-body so this one will do the trick. What's your on the go bag? I don't need a huge diaper bag becaus

Introducing Finnish Aarrekid children's clothing brand

Image
It's finally beginning to feel like spring is finally just around the corner - it's super sunny outside and not too cold either. I don't mind cold weather as long as it's sunny outside. I feel like I have so much more energy getting up and I blame the sun for that :) Talking about spring, for me it means new, bright clothes and less clothes for sure. After wearing dark and heavy clothes all winter it really is time for something new. This time I'll introduce you Aarrekid which is a Finnish children's clothing brand. They have the coolest textiles babies and older kids, and you can read their story here . Their clothes basically have a story :) Check it out! My older son turns 3 in just a few weeks and this might just be something I'll looking into. Fun, new clothes are always a great gift. Happy shopping, everyone and happy belated valentine's day too!

A trip to Greece in April and back to work in 2018 :)

Image
Hey there! It's been a while since I wrote last time. It's been kinda hectic lately, with one child teething and having a flu (and therefore not sleeping through the night), and the other one only half day in day care. I know, my own choices and not complaining about life, but 'me'-time is kinda limited these days :) Anyway, we made it and booked a flight and a hotel to Greece in april. Yay!! Love this feeling when you're actually waiting for something fun to happen. We'll be there for a week and it wont be too hot in that time of year but we don't like hot, steamy weather so it's perfect. And it's a change for our daily routines so double-yay :) Another new thing in our lives is that I'll be going back to work in january 2018 which is not like tomorrow but something I've been thinking about for a while now. My baby's gonna be 1,5 years old then so we're gonna hire a nanny for 6 months and then, after summer, he'll be joining

Winter vacation deal in Taikatalvi (Finland) in February

Image
Winter vacation is on its way, and in most cities here in Finland it usually starts from week 8. If you still don't have any plans for that week and your kids are out of school/day care that week (like us), here's a rather cheap alternative for that 'what to do' -question: a holiday for a family (2 adults and 1-2 kids) in  Finland in Taikatalvi . The staff speaks english so in case you want to visit Muumimaailma next summer, this is something I'd highly recommend for you :) This works only in Finland (obviously, it is in Finland ;)) but this would be super-fun for everyone travelling to Finland to see the Moominworld - a definite adventure for both kids and adults. Here's the official text with rules etc. in Finnish borrowed from Offerilla's site which is the organization that sells this deal: "TARJOUS Muumimaailman Taikatalvi -perhelippu (2 aikuista ja 1-2 lasta), majoitus ja aamiainen 139€ EHDOT Lahjakortti on voimassa 18.2.2017-26.2.2017

Babywearing all the time

Good morning! It's cold outside, and I get to stay inside because my husband took our toddler to day care - priceless!! I'm telling, these early mornings with two kids are just overwhelming every now and then so I really don't mind when hubby suggests something like this :) A while ago I sold our P&T verve double stroller. Just because I just didn't like it that much: even though it's bigger than sport or explorer from the same brand, I didn't like how my baby was sleeping 'on the ground' and with all the winter clothes it was getting harder to putting him there. You know, the underseat for sibbling. Just not my thing, so it had to go but now we're without a double stroller. Yikes! I even thought about buying a Bugaboo donkey duo (again!) but no - I won't do it. There's just not enough use for the price, no no no. I have pic's of my P&T (and Bugaboo as well) on my Insta if you're interested seeing them. So instead of put

Flu season and family fun at a fair - all in one week!

Good evening! It's been a while since I wrote last time and that's because I've been sick. And my toddler as well so it's been sorta long week :) just the flu but boy it makes everything harder. Glad we're finally feeling better and had a really fun sunday today together - all family - at a fair. It was about travelling and we wanted some ideas for our yearly family trip. Maybe spain but where to? That's half the fun - planning the trip, that is. And you know, after a long week like this it was just perfect. Spending time with my fam ❤ which ever trip we choose, I'll write about it later. Let's just say I'm glad we had such a good day. It hasn't been the easiest for us and now I know why so many people say dont divorce when your kids are under the age of 3. Let's just say sleep deprivation has gotten me and we've duscussed that lately. Just because life can be very hectic with two little ones but nothing too serious. That's why I'

Toddler finally sleeps in his own bed in his own room :)

Hello everyone! Finally, our toddler sleeps in his own bed in his own room :D First night he woke up at 2 am and was crying for daddy but soon fell asleep again, and last night he slept through all night. Yay! I asked him last night where does he wanna sleep, and he said 'in my big boys bed :)'  He just needs a zillion different bed-time stories and a 'story massage' (telling a story and 'writing'/massaging it to his back - it works! Although he still doesn't go to bed until 10 pm but hey - one thing at a time. Family bed was getting a bit too narrow for us all so it's definitely time to have everyone sleeping in their own beds. Except for me and my baby - we sleep right next to each other because it's just easier with those nightly feedings so I don't have to get up. Good sleep is priceless! This weekend our toddler is going to his grandparents house for a sleepover. We definitely get to sleep in and my husband has more time to study. Besid

Back to normal routine and dealing with sleep deprivation (again)

Hey everyone! Wow, it's been a while since I wrote last time. No, I didn't have a huge new years party ;) Instead, I've just been so busy with my little ones. My older son had a 2 week xmas break from his day care center and boy - it is work to entertain a toddler, especially if he's used to having different activities every day :) No, going to the park isn't enough and to be honest, we didn't get out of the house for few days because of those few horrible cold days. I mean, -20 degrees outside..not fun at all. Anyway, we did it and now my toddler is back at day care - half day until march and this works just fine. So I'm glad we're back to our normal routine: waking up early in the morning, having lunch on time, playing outside several times a day, seeing (toddler)friends etc. Routine helps to get through the day, I'll say :) Usually my baby, now 6 months already, sleeps really really well. I mean, 3-4 hrs in a row and that's just fine with
