Hello everyone! Weeks seem to pass by like nothing - it's been almost a week since I wrote last time. We've certainly had an exciting week; we sold our apartment and bought a new one. It's finally official and time to start thinking about the moving process! Yes, the move.. I've been asking for offers from different companies here in Helsinki-Espoo area in Finland but I'm still looking for the best one. You need to make sure they have valid insurances, what kind of contract you make (either you pay by the hour or for the whole package), how many movers and cars you get etc. Prices range from 500€ to 2000€ so quite the range! Obviously, we don't want to pay that much since we're only gonna pay for the heavy furniture to be moved - everything else (the small ones) we can move with our cars. Hello everyone! My exciting week is coming to an end tomorrow as we sign the papers: we're selling our apartment and buying new one. Can't wait and I hope everything goes as planned! We're going to move either June 17 or 20 so about 1 month before my due date. I've been looking for offers on different moving firms as I can't lift anything heavy (couch, bed, etc.). Hopefully I'll find something good on time, in a decent price. On saturday we're celebrating L's birthday party (finally!) with our closest relatives. He turned 2 on March 1st and we didn't have a real party for him then (we were staying at different locations due to our bathroom renovation project) so now it's time to have it. I've been planning all week what to prepare for the party: I'll have ice cream (a substitute for the cake), ham pie, cheese, huge fruit plate, miniature meatballs, "hiding frankfurters", salad and many other little things. Hey you all!! It's been a while since I wrote last time but here I am! It's been a wild week, I'm telling you. It's mother's day and I'm up already!! I was allowed to sleep in this morning but this is what happened. Boys are still sleeping, even the smaller one (my little L) which is sort of a miracle: we've had a few terrible evenings what comes to going to bed and falling asleep followed by even worst nights. Why? Well, we finally gave up on pacifier. "The little bunny babies took them" and really, it went well because he hasn't for a pacifier but evenings are just crazy. He keeps running around the house, wanting to play at 10 pm until he's way too tired and just keeps crying and screaming. Great. I had to google it to find how if other people have had this same thing going on and yes, they've had. Maybe he'll go back to that 2 mins and fall asleep -mode. Maybe. Hello everyone! It's a very big, beyond exciting day for: we've received a very competitive offer on our apartment and just made an offer of another one. Can't hide my excitement, can I? :) We'll know more in the end of this day so it's gonna be a loooong day!! And for those concerned with this too; the buyer, the seller and us. I just wish this would end nicely because it is a bit stressful, not forgetting that I am 29 weeks pregnant and all. This new house is a two-story building, a townhouse consisting of 5 townhouses/apartments and this one is placed on the corner so it has only one neighbor and the biggest front yard. It also has a balcony on the second floor and it basically doesn't need much work done since it was built in 2000 so rather new. At least compared to many townhouses we've looked into and usually they're built in the 1980's, what comes to our budget. I'm done with big renovation projects - I think I've had them for anoth...

Hey everyone! What a week it's been so far. L is finally getting healthier and last night was the first night in a long while he (and I) actually slept all night long. We ended up keeping him at home on friday too so he missed day care all week. Luckily my in-laws were in town so they took care of L yesterday so I could go to work. I don't even wanna think about our life when our second son starts day care and I go back to work - it's gonna be very challenging :) Yikes.. But today is finally weekend and I get to go to my pregnancy yoga class in the afternoon - a much needed one. It's raining (snowing, actually!!) here in Helsinki so not much to do outside the apartment except going for a class. And silly me, I hoped L and I could go out and play today. Apparently that wont happen today. Hello! Back in business again and f eeling relaxed after easter-break in Tahko skiing resort :) We arrived back to our apartment late last night (yes, our apartment!) and spent a night at our apartment for the first time in 4 weeks. Our bathroom is almost done: it should be done today!! I'm so happy and I didn't even mind cleaning the apartment. So much dust all over it but I don't care - we've all missed our home so much! Now we're gonna have to make up our mind: should we sell the apartment or stay in it - baby#2 arrives in mid-july so if we're gonna sell it, we need to do it now. Confused, yes.  Next post I'll write is about our Tahko-vacation and pics of our bathroom. This time little bit different.
