What sells second hand and how to sell it

Hello, long time no see! :) It's been a while since I wrote last time and that's just because time is kinda short these days with a crazy toddler and almost-walking baby, aka almost toddler (yikes!) So when I actually have time just for me, I tend to stare at the wall and not do anything for good 10 minutes :D Sounds bad but it certainly isn't as I truly enjoy this stage of life. As many of you know, I love second hand shopping and selling my stuff as well. Especially kids stuff, namely strollers, babywearing stuff and clothes every now and then. So what sells? That's a good question and as I don't have an answer to that, I do have some good pointers and here's my list: Strollers . If they're brand names, such as Bugaboo or Babyzen (especially yoyo) - brands "everyone's talking about" - it's always easy to sell them. Of course, what counts are, are they still in good shape, kept in the house (no mold in it, please), how old they are (q...

Babywearing all the time

Good morning! It's cold outside, and I get to stay inside because my husband took our toddler to day care - priceless!! I'm telling, these early mornings with two kids are just overwhelming every now and then so I really don't mind when hubby suggests something like this :) A while ago I sold our P&T verve double stroller. Just because I just didn't like it that much: even though it's bigger than sport or explorer from the same brand, I didn't like how my baby was sleeping 'on the ground' and with all the winter clothes it was getting harder to putting him there. You know, the underseat for sibbling. Just not my thing, so it had to go but now we're without a double stroller. Yikes! I even thought about buying a Bugaboo donkey duo (again!) but no - I won't do it. There's just not enough use for the price, no no no. I have pic's of my P&T (and Bugaboo as well) on my Insta if you're interested seeing them. So instead of put...

Bugaboo comfort wheel board vs Bumbrider sit wheel board

Image
Good sunday, everyone! I can't believe we're almost one month away from christmas and there's absolutely no snow left! Last weekend we made a snowguy (lumiukko, that is in finnish ;)) and this weekend..looking outside as it's raining. Crazy weather. Anyway, I promised on my latest instagram  post that I'd write about my latest purchase (the bugaboo wheeled board, love it!) versus Bumbrider sit  wheel board which I had and worked just fine on my Bugaboo donkey duo..but I sold it. Why? Here's my top 5 - don't worry, it's not a long list :) Bugaboo comfort wheel board + when not in use, you can just push it up - even with the seat on - no string needed (compared to their older version where you needed a string to keep it up) + ..and when in use, you can just simply pull it back down. This seems like a no big deal -type of thing but when you're in a hurry, see the bus coming and just need to get everything ready for the bus, it's those ...

Sunny sunday, finding a new hobby for the fall and some Offerilla offers

Good evening! What an awesome sunday it's been: it was so warm I could actually wear my t-shirt and I was still sweating! And it's already september. Love this weather!!  So baby and I went for a little stroll and we found an outside flea market not too far from home and of course I did find something for the boys. I had my new (used) Bugaboo Frog-stroller with me and I actually put the baby in it but, as always, he didn't like the stroller. Yep, he's a carrier/sling -kinda baby that's how we really strolled ;) He just doesn't like to be put in the stroller so (suprisingly) my both double stroller (Easywalker) and my Bugaboo are on sale :D I know.. And it's funny because our toddler, you know my oldest son just loved sleeping in the stroller when he was a baby and he didn't like the carrier/sling at all. Talk about differences! And don't worry, I still have a travell stroller so I wont be totally stroller-less. Anyway, I started thinking about ...

Best double stroller: considering Emmaljunga Double Viking / 735

Good morning! I've posted a lot about different strollers and have a few great ones in my mind. Not in my husband's mind though so that's a problem ;) Like I said, we did buy used Phil&Teds -strollers but they're kinda worn out so I'm gonna need new ones I can really count on. And by that I mean I want ones that are sturdy since I will be carrying my two little ones in those, after all. Also I kinda want my children to sit next to one another, and P&T doesn't work that way. Here's a site  I read and started my comparing process. The problem still is, there are just so many options out there in the 'stroller jungle', which makes my decision even harder. Bugaboo Anyway, I've become a Bugaboo fan after reading many reviews on them and sort grown into them: I want them. They have many good qualities I'm looking for, such as big tires, they're sturdy, have a big basket underseat for groceries and most important - they look nice....
