Found a new play area for kids nearby and meal savings with Offerilla :)

It's almost new year!! Yikes and no plans!! :) Everyone else does, right? Yesterday I went to an 'adventure' with my boys, as I told my toddler: a bus ride to this mall where they have an outdoor biking area for kids. I mean, it's supposed to be winter and we went biking!! In Finland! Anyway, we had fun and it was a great way to get rid of some of that energy a 2 year old has. Before that my both boys fell asleep in the stroller, at the same time so mama had some time to do shopping AND have coffee. How about that for an 'adventure'? :) What I didn't know is that this place, a shopping mall which is in Tapiola  in Espoo, has a really huge and fun play area/ room for little kids . I mean, by huge I mean huge: my toddler really needs space so he can run around and play so this was perfect. He's not really that much into playing outdoors cause it's always cold and wet here in Finland (just like me!) so this works! I mean, it's a heaven for adult

Babygear on sale for up to 70% at Lekmer

Good morning! My older son is on christmas vacation for the next 2 weeks so funny but true - I now have more time to write blog posts ;) I mean, not dressing up and down and running to get to the bus but instead slow mornings (that started at 5am, yikes) and eating breakfast together. Baby goes to bed super early at night and then wakes up super early, and my toddler has trouble going to bed at night and then has trouble waking up in the morning. I know, it's a cycle and I can't wait for them both to sleep well at night. Until then... Anyway, christmas is finally over (thank god, no more over eating!!) and annual post-christmas are here. Yay! Funny, but I have a saying these days that thank god you can find that and that as a new one vs. second-hand ;) Yes, people seem to have ridiculous thoughts on selling their stuff second hand and sometimes some of these items are even more expensive than a new one. Crazy. Anyway, back to the topic and Lekmer . They have a lot of stuff

Bugaboo-strollers on sale @Babyshop!

Hey y'all & happy x-mas day! :) Did you all have a merry christmas? We did - I can't believe how much food we had and how much we ate :) Good thing christmas is only once a year ;) Y'all know my obsession on Bugaboo strollers and guess what? They're on sale at Babyshop . Bugaboo weekender (mono) and Bugaboo Bee3 are the ones I considered but mostly on Bee3 - we wont need a double stroller that much longer any more so a lighter stroller and a wheeled board will do the trick. And it's a good price now: starting from 482,80€ is what I got on all-black chassis with grey-melange (extendable) hood..nice!! I'll think about it a few hours but I'm pretty I'll put in the offer. Hey, it's christmas time and I didn't get anything for me yet ;) I was gonna buy a cameleon stroller just because I had Frog and I really liked it (it's super easy to handle, even with a wheeled board attached) and you can get winter tires in front so it would work just a

Back from Sweden and getting ready for christmas :)

Hey y'all! Wow, it's been a week since I wrote last time - time certainly flies :) My baby is 6 months old today, I just can't believe that. Feels like I just took him home. Today we (me and my kids) went to older older son's daycare to have morning porridge. It's a tradition here in Finland to have porridge in the morning, and at christmas time we eat this special porridge with cinnamon and sugar. Yummy! I also met my son's best friends dad, who's actually canadian so it's was so much fun to actually speak english for a while. Too bad, this best friend is quitting at the daycare and they are moving to another country :( Poor little L, he was so sad yesterday and will be super-sad when he goes back to his daycare after christmas break. Oh well, that's life. This past weekend we went to Stockholm in Sweden by a  Silja Line  ferry and I posted this picture on my instagram . We had fun but next time we go, we're gonna stay there a bit longer. Th

My Bugaboo Donkey said goodbye :(

How dramatic but yes, my once loved (and I still love them) Bugaboo Donkey Duo stroller had to go :( Why? Well, even though it was a great one it had it's downside. Such as the seat was way too small for my toddler who's wearing winterclothes and still have to fit in the seat. Actually, his head was all the way in the sun canopy when he was napping (and that was basically the only time we used them so not good). Another one was the width, all though they are pretty small but still. Using public transportation a lot like us it's always embarrassing to take two spaces when there's not that much space to begin with :) And those aren't the whole truth..it's the price tag. They were just a bit too expensive for our use which is only for naptime. So they had to go and I actually cried. For selling my stroller, hello! ;) Anyway, I had to buy a new one since we still need something to get from A to B, so I bought a less expensive double stroller from Phil & Teds.

Christmas is on the way, x-mas party and a cruise to Stockholm

Good afternoon, everyone!  I can't believe it's less than 2 weeks until it's x-mas!! Yikes, I'm not done with shopping and all the other preparations are sorta..not done either. Oh well, no panic and it'll go smoothly as always :) This week is a fun week filled with a visit to my workplace with my tiniest boy, a christmas party at my older son's day care (I love christmas parties) and then a cruise to Stockholm in Sweden and back. If you're interested in going there and see the royals ;) check out Booking   which is a site that has great deals on hotels and airfare. Anyway, we're going on a cruise from friday night to sunday morning and I gotta say, that's the best way of travelling with kids. I mean, there's a playroom for my toddler and a place to feed my baby at the same time plus I can have a coffee during that time. Perfect! Besides, kids are usually tired from all that playing so that's always a bonus, and I don't need to go an

When buying stuff second-hand is not worth it

Good (rainy) morning, everyone! I am a big fan of second-hand, as many of you know it if you have read my blog since the very beginning. Not only because you save some money buying stuff second-hand but there are other good reasons too. You just don't always need to buy everything new, its just a thing for me. Anyway, not going any further on this, but I recently purchased a babywearing jacket online, and by that I mean I got it as a used one. Second-hand, that is. It was one of those quite expensive ones so I thought I should definitely get it because I wasn't sure how long I was gonna wear it. Everything seemed fine, I paid it and got it home. Baby and I went for a walk as I wanted to try my new purchase in real action, as to say it, and went to a nearby mall. So what happened, the alarm started beeping REALLY loud as I walked in to the store. I was a bit confused and embarrassed, of course, because I did not want anyone to think I had stolen anything. It made that same a
