Välipäivä ale Lekmerillä / Post-christmas sales at Lekmer

Image
Hey everyone! *this post contains an ad* Välipäivä ale @Lekmer / post-christmas sale @Lekmer Are you all done with eating turkey?! Ready for some post-christmas sales at  Lekmer aka välipäivä ale, as we say in Finland? :) I am! To be quite honest, this wasn't the best christmas ever to our family: our 10 month old baby has been sick for the past 2 weeks with on-off stomach flu :( and to make it worse, our oldest son, myself and daddy got it right before christmas! Not fun. So that means almost all of my christmas shopping fell into one day at a mall with a sick child - running around like a crazy kid myself :D kids got presents for sure but it wasn't the best christmas ever. So now I'm leaning on to post-christmas shopping online because we're not 100% okay yet. Baby got sick AGAIN last night so went to er again today. What a day! My tips on post-christmas sales I always opt for toys and clothes - toys that I can give my boys later when they turn 1, 6 and...

Father's day gift idea at COS

Image
Hey everyone! It's friday, baby and I did already father's day shopping and now baby's sleeping and I'm herr :) I'm gonna prepare a brunch on sunday - or very early breakfast if we get up at 6 am - including a variety of cheeses, ham, toast skagen, croissants, fruit plate, sweets and a cake of course :) all the things you can nible :) Stroller walk in the snow  Babe and I actually walked home since it's not too cold today but there's still a little bit of snow left from yesterday. It took about an hour to get home so I say it was a good excersize :) Kids went all crazy yesterday with the snow and wanted to make a snowman. I think we need to wait a bit longer for that! I just love when the first snow falls down cause it brightens the day and night, and looks so pretty. Love it! Christmas is just around the corner, for sure. Father's day sales I always buy some piece of clothing for father's day - at least warm merino wool socks or just und...

Mid-season sale @Jollyroom

Image
Hey everyone! Happy thursday, despite the awful weather we have here in Finland. It's grey, water dripping but luckily not raining that hard and it's just one of those mornings when you just wanna stsy in bed all day. I actually napped yesterday with my little one which is something I never do. But felt so good after! And after summer sales and between christmas sales, there's mid-season sales everywhere :) I always go for these because I like saving money, that's all and with my somewhat huge family here in Finland, saving money is my top priority these days. Jollyroom  is one of my favorites when it come to buying a new stroller, clothes or any other thing thats needed in our family. They usually ship fast, their prices are compatible compared to others and their customer care works really well, in my opinion. I've ordered quite the few stroller from their selection and if I've had a problem with it, they've helped me quickly. Returns have worked out...

Summer sales @ Reima

Image
Good afternoon! How are you doing? I'm having a great day with my kiddos at a park and for some un-explainable reason, my 3 year old hasn't pushed any "mommy goes crazy" -buttons :D oh well, I'm sure that'll change or maybe it's the sun that does it's magic. Anyway, I've had time to go through clothes for the fall, and most of them are too small :( good thing is that Reima  has always good quality clothes on sale and they last for years which is great since I have 3 boys. There's always next one to use them :) have you guys given a thought on fall clothing yet or are you still on holiday mood? You should enjoy your holiday but keep in mind fall is coming :) I'm so glad weekend is here and my hubby will join us. He just returned to work on wednesday and boy do I miss him during the day!! It sure feels like an olympic sport to entertain young kids. And keep an eye on them so they wont hurt them. The other night they were hiding from us pa...

Pregnancy week 39, waiting for labor and january sales at Reima

Image
Hey everyone! January is looking good what comes to this awesome finnish weather with lots of snow and just perfect temperature: not too cold but cold enough to keep the snow here from melting away :) Kids love it of course cause there's so much to do outside. I love it too - even with my huge pregnancy week 39 belly - crazy how fast time has gone and very soon we'll be a family of 5 <3 Speaking of which, I kinda wish baby was here already. I mean, it's getting harder at moving at night in bed, I'm not supposed to lift anything too heavy (including my 2,5 year old) and overall I'm just feeling uncomfortable.  Can't wait for that labor to get started! Our weekend was super fun, in a long while, as me and husband had a date-night and on sunday we went to grandparents house for dinner and before that little bit of outing with the kids. They were exhausted and my younger son fell asleep in the car at 7 pm and woke up this morning at 7.30! I guess that fresh a...

Just another sick day at home..

Image
Hey y'all! Has everyone survided from black week, friday, weekend and cyber monday?! Luckily my kids got (once again) sick so I didn't even have to think about shopping ;) Just when I thought all the sickness this fall would be over, I realized just how wrong I was. To make it feel better (sorta), 9 out of 20 kids are currently at day care. That was yesterday so it may have changed already. So maybe we're done after this one..? This time it's 'only' a virus with high fever, on both of them, and they're just exhausted as hell. I took my older son to a doctor's office yesterday and oh boy, those lab tests are so hard with him :( I'm not even supposed to carry anything that weighs more than 10 kg because I'm pregnant and I had to force my kid to go to the lab, and he weighs 16 kg. I know, blood tests are never fun but you just gotta take them. Thankfully no need for antibiotics this time since we finished our last prescription only one week ago. N...

Black friday sales and offers are here!

Image
Finally, Black friday has arrived with all kinds of discounts and sales all over the places! This really is the time to save some €€€ if you have something specific in mind. Perfect time for christmas shopping for sure! I did my shopping yesterday when I finally decided which double stroller I'll need and I ended up buying Mountain Buggy Duet - once again :D And of course, in black colour (what else ;)) Mountain Buggy Duet double stroller at Babyshop. It just feels like the one for my growing family and so far my boys love it. Even my 4,5 year old son wanted to skip biking to day care this morning and instead he wanted a ride on duet :) Now all I need is a new set of Aerotech tires once they're available again (Babyshop sells them, for example, so check the link below). Aerotech tires for Mountain Buggy Duet at Babyshop. Here are some of my favorites on Black friday shopping: Reima  if you're looking for warm outerwear for your kids - great gift id...

Black friday sales coming up!

Image
Black friday will be here again next week and I just cant wait for all the good sales coming up! I do have some major shopping to do for my baby #3 arriving in january so let's here them all :) I already posted on my Deal of the week -page what Mamalicious has to offer on black friday. Hope you've found my weekly changing deals but if not, go check it out :) But if you're looking for new non-pregnant clothes, then maybe Vero Moda is your destination on black friday. What about French children's clothes you can order online, such as LaRedout e ? Not only do they have those already mentioned kids clothes but also clothes for mommy and daddy, and cute household stuff. Just as I posted on my instagram yesterday, I'm on a sick-leave this week due to my pregnancy. Nothing serious but just need to rest. And watch Desperate housewives - my saver and quilt :) So back to that, thanks for reading and enjoy your day, lovelies :)

New clothes for kids at Reima outlet

Image
Hello, everyone! Weeks are going so fast it's almost impossible to remember post anything but here I am :) This week has been the worst in a while: my both kids got sick last week, and that required me to stay at home with one of them. Of course that's what I do but I just hate calling in sick after being at work for less than 2 weeks :) But it is what it is and luckily grandparents came in to help us - yay for them :) So after this horrible week I decided I'm in for a treat. Clothes, that is :) Not for me, though, but for my kids. Reima has the best quality, durable clothes for kids and they even have sales right now so that would be the perfect time for shopping. All of a sudden my older son, who turns 4 in 1 month, has out-grown of all of his outerwear (yes, I spot ankles :D) and my youngest son just isn't a baby anymore :( I mean really, after he started at daycare he's grown so much and is just taller. So if you need new clothes, check it out. I usually ta...

New wheeled board from Lekmer

Hello! Time flies and it's already mid-august. As many of you've noticed, I've been addicted to strollers and especially to double strollers - and I've switched those many many times :) Now that my older son is at the day care during naptime - which was the only reason I chose to keep those and switch for a stroller and wheeled board -combo for good - we really don't need one anymore. Basically, we just use our old Emmaljunga Nitro City all the time and our double stroller, Phil & Teds Vibe, spends a lot of time alone. So, that means it's time to shop :) Lekmer has a really good selection of wheeled boards, especially the one with a seat, and the cheapest one I found on the market. Bumprider sit , that is. I know, I had this one before and it didn't quite work at that time because my older son was just too young for it. Now that he's starting to skip naptime during the weekends but needs a seat every now and then, I decided it's time to orde...

Shopping at CDON.COM

Image
Hey everyone! Our wintervacation is getting to its end and actually today I'm at home just with my baby - toddler is at grandparents overnight and to be honest, this kinda feels like a vacation to me too :D Only one child at home, who's sleeping at the moment. Sometimes these moments are the best - although, I have to say, I miss my toddler like hell. Mixed feelings, huh?! Anyway, I usually just open my laptop (start blogging etc.) or I'll shop. This time I noticed all the wonderful offers at CDON   which is kinda a department store online. They have everything from books to toys and other baby gear, and at the moment they have this campaign called '5 day deals' until 2/27 (no shipping fees when delivered to Finland). Check out their webpage for more information. For example, I found this Thule Urban Glide 2   jogging stroller for two for sale at 571,95€. Spring is almost here so it's time to start jogging again! Another interesting I found is an Easy Rider...

New purse from Boozt

Yesterday I introduced Aarrekid children's brand to you if you're in need of new children's clothes. Today I decided I'll order a new bag from Boozt since my current one from Guess is kinda worn out and it just doesn't work for me anymore. I need a cross-body that's not too small but not too big either - it needs to that perfect size that can hold my wallet, phone, keys and something else too. A diaper, maybe? :) I found this  purse  from Rebecca Minkoff which has the purses I just love :) This one is also on sale now, only 152€ (plus shipping) so that's affordable for now. I need a purse that can be easy to take with me when I'm on the go with the kids. Not too 'blingy' since I'm always wearing sweatpants and sneakers but instead something rather classical with a little twist, you know. This one has these zips and it's a cross-body so this one will do the trick. What's your on the go bag? I don't need a huge diaper bag becaus...

Bugaboo-strollers on sale @Babyshop!

Image
Hey y'all & happy x-mas day! :) Did you all have a merry christmas? We did - I can't believe how much food we had and how much we ate :) Good thing christmas is only once a year ;) Y'all know my obsession on Bugaboo strollers and guess what? They're on sale at Babyshop . Bugaboo weekender (mono) and Bugaboo Bee3 are the ones I considered but mostly on Bee3 - we wont need a double stroller that much longer any more so a lighter stroller and a wheeled board will do the trick. And it's a good price now: starting from 482,80€ is what I got on all-black chassis with grey-melange (extendable) hood..nice!! I'll think about it a few hours but I'm pretty I'll put in the offer. Hey, it's christmas time and I didn't get anything for me yet ;) I was gonna buy a cameleon stroller just because I had Frog and I really liked it (it's super easy to handle, even with a wheeled board attached) and you can get winter tires in front so it would work just a...

Final sales @ Lekmer and other weekend fun

Good evening! What a relaxing weekend we've had: lots of playing outside with the kids (ok, just with the older one so far) and enjoying the last sunny days of summer so far. Let's hope next week and especially next weekend will still be nice so we can be outside as we have our baby's christening party on saturday. He'll finally have officially a name then! :) I also made it to the big supermarket yesterday with my toddler and got everything for the party. Baby stayed home with his daddy - first time for an hour and a half. So much easier to go get stuff with one child only. Next week will be spent cleaning, planning the party and preparing & baking everything. Lot of work but it'll be fun :) I'm gonna bake two cakes since some of our guests will need a gluten-free food so that'll be double for everything. I'm making this blueberry cake for those who have a gluten-free diet - sorry, this recipe is only in Finnish. Freely translated it means ...

Moving process starts today and introducing Reima online store with big sales!

Image
Good morning! It's rainy today so it's a good day to start our moving process: we're getting the keys to our new home today :) Not too much heavy lifting today but only cleaning and taking some stuff - slowly moving, that's our strategy :) The actual movers come on tuesday so that's the first night we'll be spending at our new home. Very exciting! I had my pregnancy week 35 check up at a doctor's office on friday, and everything seems still fine. And even though everything still fine and it doesn't seem that real that I'll be going into labor anytime soon, that still means I might be going - it could happen anytime from now on until my due date. That's reality. She suggested I'd take it easy from now on but..that's easier to be said than done - I'll rest more after we're done with the move. Unless I'm in labor next week ;) Please, keep your fingers crossed for me! Baby weighs about 2,7 kg so he's ready what comes to his...
