Sick child, Reima outerwear and working mama - quite the combo!

Hey everyone!  It's been a while since I've posted anything but that's because we've literally been sick from january until now :( To be more spesific, my youngest one has been sick with stomach flu, flu and now with earinfection - in his both ears!! He's been up all nite long since it's been too hard to sleep through the night, poor little one. Luckily after been in and out of health center, which did nothing good in trying to find out what's wrong with him, we finally got an insurance for him and took him to a private doctor's. Now he's already feeling so much better, thanks to this super-talented doctor :) I hate when my kids are in pain! Outerwear at Reima  Sorry about a whiny start on this post! Other than being sick for weeks, it's been raining almost all the time which is not fine. Thank god for online shops like  Reima  who offer the best quality outer wear for kids, my older kids have so far stayed healthy (fingers crossed that...

Fall accessories for babywearing, strollers and everything else!

Image
Hey everyone! Fall's here with cooler weather and rain, and it's that time again when you need to think again what to wear (bikini's aren't enough :)), how to take your kids to playground or to daycare and do I need a babycarrier or a new stroller. Luckily my older kids ride their bikes to daycare and my youngest son - now 7 months old - travels everywhere under my babywearing jacket. So no stroller really needed! But then again, winter's coming too and here in Finland you need a stroller with big tires and the streets are slippery so maybe a stroller could be on my shopping list. That's why I listed some of my favorite items so feel free to check them out and get them if you feel they're useful to you :)Warning: contains ads. Babywearing I love babywearing and Hoppediz has this alternative for a babycarrier, a Hop-Tye Buckle . It's soft as a sling but easy as a carrier, and it's adjustable so it goes from newborn to a toddler.  Double str...

Summer sales @ Reima

Image
Good afternoon! How are you doing? I'm having a great day with my kiddos at a park and for some un-explainable reason, my 3 year old hasn't pushed any "mommy goes crazy" -buttons :D oh well, I'm sure that'll change or maybe it's the sun that does it's magic. Anyway, I've had time to go through clothes for the fall, and most of them are too small :( good thing is that Reima  has always good quality clothes on sale and they last for years which is great since I have 3 boys. There's always next one to use them :) have you guys given a thought on fall clothing yet or are you still on holiday mood? You should enjoy your holiday but keep in mind fall is coming :) I'm so glad weekend is here and my hubby will join us. He just returned to work on wednesday and boy do I miss him during the day!! It sure feels like an olympic sport to entertain young kids. And keep an eye on them so they wont hurt them. The other night they were hiding from us pa...

Pregnancy week 39, waiting for labor and january sales at Reima

Image
Hey everyone! January is looking good what comes to this awesome finnish weather with lots of snow and just perfect temperature: not too cold but cold enough to keep the snow here from melting away :) Kids love it of course cause there's so much to do outside. I love it too - even with my huge pregnancy week 39 belly - crazy how fast time has gone and very soon we'll be a family of 5 <3 Speaking of which, I kinda wish baby was here already. I mean, it's getting harder at moving at night in bed, I'm not supposed to lift anything too heavy (including my 2,5 year old) and overall I'm just feeling uncomfortable.  Can't wait for that labor to get started! Our weekend was super fun, in a long while, as me and husband had a date-night and on sunday we went to grandparents house for dinner and before that little bit of outing with the kids. They were exhausted and my younger son fell asleep in the car at 7 pm and woke up this morning at 7.30! I guess that fresh a...

Pregnancy week 36 thoughts

Image
Hey everyone! I can't believe I'm already on pregnancy week 36 and it's less than month to go before #3 arrives!! My last pregnancy ended and baby was born at 36+2 which is like next week so..it's getting real :) I'm feeling alright, considered I'm very pregnant and still running around with my little boys. Ok, not running but trying to keep up with them :) Christmas was great with santa claus, new toys and all that eating - you know, a very traditional christmas that is. Boys loved it and it was worth every second :) Now boys are off from day care for 1,5 weeks and we're just taking it easy; skating, going to the park, playing inside with new toys etc. We did have a helper here today, a nanny, who played with them for couple of hours while I went to see my doctor. We've never had a nanny before so I was a bit worried leaving my kids with her but it went super-fine. She was young, in her 20's but had already so much experience with little kids and...

Black friday sales and offers are here!

Image
Finally, Black friday has arrived with all kinds of discounts and sales all over the places! This really is the time to save some €€€ if you have something specific in mind. Perfect time for christmas shopping for sure! I did my shopping yesterday when I finally decided which double stroller I'll need and I ended up buying Mountain Buggy Duet - once again :D And of course, in black colour (what else ;)) Mountain Buggy Duet double stroller at Babyshop. It just feels like the one for my growing family and so far my boys love it. Even my 4,5 year old son wanted to skip biking to day care this morning and instead he wanted a ride on duet :) Now all I need is a new set of Aerotech tires once they're available again (Babyshop sells them, for example, so check the link below). Aerotech tires for Mountain Buggy Duet at Babyshop. Here are some of my favorites on Black friday shopping: Reima  if you're looking for warm outerwear for your kids - great gift id...

4D ultrasound and pregnancy week 23 update

Image
Hey everyone! Time sure is flying and pregnancy week 23 is almost done :) Fall has arrived here in Finland and it's getting colder for sure.  Kids have already had their share of flu and other unwanted visitors from day care, and last night my younger son woke up at 2 am just to throw up :( It's always fun to clean during night but luckily poor little guy is fine and at day care today. I'm hoping I won't catch it :) I also had my 4D ultrasound this week at Femeda which is one of the only places in Helsinki where you can get your 3D/4D done. They have the best doctor I know to do this, Bruno Cacciatore, and he's so charming and obviously very intelligent to do his job. He was so nice when welcoming us to our appointment when he said 'Hello again!' We've had this 4D ultrasound with all of our babies so we just had to do it again. Why? Well, even though it's not NIPT, it's very accurate when it comes to 'just' an ultrasound and it s...

New clothes for kids at Reima outlet

Image
Hello, everyone! Weeks are going so fast it's almost impossible to remember post anything but here I am :) This week has been the worst in a while: my both kids got sick last week, and that required me to stay at home with one of them. Of course that's what I do but I just hate calling in sick after being at work for less than 2 weeks :) But it is what it is and luckily grandparents came in to help us - yay for them :) So after this horrible week I decided I'm in for a treat. Clothes, that is :) Not for me, though, but for my kids. Reima has the best quality, durable clothes for kids and they even have sales right now so that would be the perfect time for shopping. All of a sudden my older son, who turns 4 in 1 month, has out-grown of all of his outerwear (yes, I spot ankles :D) and my youngest son just isn't a baby anymore :( I mean really, after he started at daycare he's grown so much and is just taller. So if you need new clothes, check it out. I usually ta...

Moving process starts today and introducing Reima online store with big sales!

Image
Good morning! It's rainy today so it's a good day to start our moving process: we're getting the keys to our new home today :) Not too much heavy lifting today but only cleaning and taking some stuff - slowly moving, that's our strategy :) The actual movers come on tuesday so that's the first night we'll be spending at our new home. Very exciting! I had my pregnancy week 35 check up at a doctor's office on friday, and everything seems still fine. And even though everything still fine and it doesn't seem that real that I'll be going into labor anytime soon, that still means I might be going - it could happen anytime from now on until my due date. That's reality. She suggested I'd take it easy from now on but..that's easier to be said than done - I'll rest more after we're done with the move. Unless I'm in labor next week ;) Please, keep your fingers crossed for me! Baby weighs about 2,7 kg so he's ready what comes to his...
