Baby gear from Pinkorblue

Good morning, everyone! What a lovely sunshine we have :) After all the rain and snow we still had this past weekend, it's finally time to welcome spring and eventually summer to Finland :) Yesterday kids and I spent 3 hours outdoors playing and biking, and it did warm up to 15 degrees which is a lot in here. This week it's supposed to get to 20 degrees, yay! And not only do I like the sun I also need the sun: baby and I woke up at 4.30 am this morning and the only way I managed to put him back to sleep was to put him in my Tula baby carrier. I can say he slept like a baby but it's kinda hard for me to sleep then, right?! Strong coffee for me today, thank you very much :D So as summer is getting closer and closer, and everyone's doing their preps for summer holiday, it's time to introduce yet another interesting online store for you guys: Pinkorblue . They have a great selection of strollers, baby carriers/slings, clothes, furniture and many many other things. T...

Baby's due date, thinking about new baby gear and other stuff

Image
Good morning! Baby's due date is here - and he's almost 4 weeks old :) Things are going well, although little L got really sick on wednesday nite and we had a few rough nites because of that. I'm fine with my 3 hour sleep but when I don't get that, I'm exhausted. I mean, baby sleeps 3 hrs in a row which is just fine, then eats and sleeps again but big brother kept waking up every hour. He had ear infection (again) and high fewer. He seems better today so let's keep our fingers crossed. He hasn't eaten anything for days but finally had breakfast this morning so it looks promising. I hate when my babies are sick :( Baby gear Yes, my favorite topic :) Here's a picture of my stroller, Easywalker Duo, which I bought as a used one, and I just love them :) Very sturdy, yet not too heavy to push even with two kids, the baby basket is big enough and at least my baby sleeps there almost too well. And all that for 220€ so I can't complain! My bag hangs in...

Buying new baby gear - comparing used ones

Hello everyone! What a night we had..L woke up at 4 am, crying and wanting to have milk. Not sure exactly what he had or if it was just a nightmare, but I god - I'm so tired!! It usually takes up to 1 hour before he goes back to sleep and that's a bit too much for us parents: we're exhausted in the morning. Strong coffee all day long - that's how we cope :) Baby gear..and talking about strollers, again My blog is mainly about baby gear because I'm a huge fan of everything concerning those little ones. You've probably noticed that already ;) Strollers, baby clothes, accessories, bags, even breastpumps - I get really excited of those! I actually sold my used Phil&Teds Sport -stroller yesterday so now I really get to have a new one. Why I sold them after I really wanted them in..february? I realized I wont need them because L is getting bigger and bigger each day (yes, surprise) and what we really need is a sturdy, Emmaljunga or Brio -kind of 4-wheeled s...

Canada wins worlds in ice hockey and baby gear from Babyshop

Good evening! So it was an ice hockey filled past weekend with Canada winning the world championships , and Finland (winning) the silver medal. I'm not that into hockey but I did watch the games here and there - until I got the stomach flu :( Please, let this be the last one we're dealing with this spring (or in a long while if we're lucky). First my husband got it on saturday night and then it was my turn. Today's been such a lazy day with me sleeping all day long. Sorry, my posts are a bit depressing but hey, this is how our life is these days :) Baby gear from Babyshop In case you're interested in buying new baby gear this spring (clothes, strollers or other accessories), you need to check out Babyshop . They have ongoing sales going on through this spring and their web pages are in English also, so that should be helpful for non-native finnish readers. You can order stuff online so that's always helpful - especially if you're sick like I am and ca...

New baby gear for the spring with a discount code from Lekmer!

Good afternoon, everyone! Now that my hunt for the new home is over (no, I haven't moved yet) and our apartment is sold, it's time to look for other important things. And those are, of course, new baby gear :) As I mentioned on my previous post, I need so many things for my new baby - I sold a lot of stuff last spring as I decided one child will be enough. Forever. As we all know by now (and by all I mean those who've followed my blog), that's not true and baby #2 will arrive to this world in july. Discount code If you need something new, here's a code from Lekmer for you for buying things worth 100€  (get 10€ off), 200€  (get 20€ off) or 300€  (get 30€ off). These codes are not valid for Lego's or other things that already are discounted. You'll find more information on their site. This is a great offer for those wanting to buy new strollers or any other baby gear! Happy shopping!

Our apartment is for sale, pregnancy yoga, snow and other weekend stuff

Hey everyone! What a week it's been so far. L is finally getting healthier and last night was the first night in a long while he (and I) actually slept all night long. We ended up keeping him at home on friday too so he missed day care all week. Luckily my in-laws were in town so they took care of L yesterday so I could go to work. I don't even wanna think about our life when our second son starts day care and I go back to work - it's gonna be very challenging :) Yikes.. But today is finally weekend and I get to go to my pregnancy yoga class in the afternoon - a much needed one. It's raining (snowing, actually!!) here in Helsinki so not much to do outside the apartment except going for a class. And silly me, I hoped L and I could go out and play today. Apparently that wont happen today. Apartment on the market Our apartment is now on sale and just like I imagined, people are actually interested in seeing it so tomorrow couple of families are coming here to see it...
