Hauck duett 2 double stroller

Image
Hey everyone! Hauck duett 2 On this rainy day I decided I needed to share my newest investment - Hauck duett 2 double stroller :) It's super narrow, not too long, works super well with two kids that are different ages, has puncture-free tires and has a large shopping basket underneath. What's most important to me is that upper seat is reversible and you can use it as a carrycot for newborn or as a seat. And you can switch that while on the go which is super great with a baby that sleeps a lot but while awake wants to see so you can just tilt the seat (like on a Bugaboo stroller) and ta-daa - you have a happy babe! And if use a car a lot these are so easy to fold and wont take too much space on your trunk. Genious! Honestly, these are only 299€ at the moment so this is a steal! These are very good in quality, I can highly recommend these. Order them and see what you like about them :)

New double stroller comparison for three kids :)

Image
Hey everyone! It's currently raining here in Finland and this morning could not have been worse what comes to taking kids to day care :( Not going into details but let's just say bad mornings do have an influence on your whole day at work and that's not good. Maybe it's the weather because I'm trying to find that motivation to do my work and currently I don't seem to find it. One of those days and TGIF! :) That helps. My pregnancy week changes every saturday and tomorrow I'll be on my 25th week. Crazy! So about 3 months left before #3 arrives here, and I gotta say I'm not ready yet :D And of course that means I don't have a double stroller yet and besides that, I don't even know which one to pick this time! Not only do I need it for 2 kids but I need it for 3 kids because there are times when my 4,5 year old just can't walk, it the city, for example and I need at least a standing board for him. He'll be 5 in march so he really doesn...

Hauck Duett 2 double stroller

Image
Hello everyone! Sun is shining and I'm about to go out for a long walk since my little guy just fell asleep to an early nap. So a while ago I wrote about double stroller which is a topic close to me because as a mother of two wild boys, I need to have a seat for them every now and then. I'm a big fan of double strollers that have seats next to each other (like Bugaboo donkey duo or Easywalker duo have) but I don't like their width. It's almost impossible to go anywhere with them, especially to a bus so I had to change them to a Phil & Teds strollers which is super narrow but I just don't like them at all. Why? Because kids here in winter wonderland tend to have to wear lot's of clothing so it's almost impossible to put them in the stroller - especially the one sitting in the lower seat. So I googled, once again, and happened to find this one: Hauck Duett 2 . It sorta reminds me of Babyjogger city select but is lot of cheaper than that one. Check out ...

Battle of the double-strollers and the winner is..

Hey y'all! As the title reveals, I've been - once again - on a hunt for the perfect double-stroller. I know, I've been blogging about it for ages and switched and then went back and forth...several times. Anyway, long story short, my favorite of them all is Easywalker duo . I've tried Bugaboo donkey duo , Mountain buggy duet , and many different versions/models of Phil & Teds . These all are great ones but my criteria why Easywalker won this battle are: - Kids sit next to each other (that rules out P&T models) - it's narrow enough to fit main doors (about 75 cm wide, 100 cm long) - it has big tires (this rules out Mountain Buggy duet) - it costs from 100-300€ as second hand (this rules out Bugaboo donkey duo, for an obvious reason) - it's roomy for even a bigger kid - my now 3,5 year old didn't fit in a Bugaboo donkey duo And that is all! What really is important to me is that my kids fit in the stroller, is easy to push (has an adjustable ha...

New wheeled board from Lekmer

Hello! Time flies and it's already mid-august. As many of you've noticed, I've been addicted to strollers and especially to double strollers - and I've switched those many many times :) Now that my older son is at the day care during naptime - which was the only reason I chose to keep those and switch for a stroller and wheeled board -combo for good - we really don't need one anymore. Basically, we just use our old Emmaljunga Nitro City all the time and our double stroller, Phil & Teds Vibe, spends a lot of time alone. So, that means it's time to shop :) Lekmer has a really good selection of wheeled boards, especially the one with a seat, and the cheapest one I found on the market. Bumprider sit , that is. I know, I had this one before and it didn't quite work at that time because my older son was just too young for it. Now that he's starting to skip naptime during the weekends but needs a seat every now and then, I decided it's time to orde...

Spring is on its way and in need of new shoes from Lekmer!

Hello there! I know, it's been a while since I wrote last time but we've been really sick this past month with flu, stomach flu and then I hurt my back big time a week ago. So glad this month is almost over - time to move on to spring!! And it's definitely here with almost all the snow gone and sunny almost daily and also it's getting warmer. Next week we're going back to 8-12 routine with my toddler at his daycare. This 3 days a week just didn't work at all. He tends to forget his daycare and it's been so hard to take him there those days and he doesn't like to be there for that long everyday. I'm glad this daycare is so flexible that they would go back to this. Spring also means new clothes and shoes, at least for us. I was so sure all of our shoes from last season would fit (to our toddler) but I was completely wrong! So this means shopping, and Lekmer has a new campaign until april 4, 2017 on shoes so check it out if need new ones! They usua...

Reason I chose Bugaboo Donkey Duo stroller

Many people with two children with age difference 1-3 are struggling with the same thing as I was earlier this year: should I buy a double stroller or will I be okay with a stroller for one and a wheeled board for the older one. I was one of those people, although I did buy a used Phil&Teds stroller (ok, very used) and didn't like it that much (the baby carrycot is way too small for the baby and I didn't like the idea one child would basically be sitting on the ground). (And as I go further, remember - these are just my points of views and people think differently). So I sold that one way before my number two was here. Just weeks before my second child was born, I decided we still needed a side-by-side -double stroller so we bought a (used one) Easywalker duo stroller. I liked it, no big reason for selling it (again!) but it was kinda heavy and just a bit too large for us: it didn't fit the front door and I don't like to keep my strollers outside so that had to ...

Baby's due date, thinking about new baby gear and other stuff

Image
Good morning! Baby's due date is here - and he's almost 4 weeks old :) Things are going well, although little L got really sick on wednesday nite and we had a few rough nites because of that. I'm fine with my 3 hour sleep but when I don't get that, I'm exhausted. I mean, baby sleeps 3 hrs in a row which is just fine, then eats and sleeps again but big brother kept waking up every hour. He had ear infection (again) and high fewer. He seems better today so let's keep our fingers crossed. He hasn't eaten anything for days but finally had breakfast this morning so it looks promising. I hate when my babies are sick :( Baby gear Yes, my favorite topic :) Here's a picture of my stroller, Easywalker Duo, which I bought as a used one, and I just love them :) Very sturdy, yet not too heavy to push even with two kids, the baby basket is big enough and at least my baby sleeps there almost too well. And all that for 220€ so I can't complain! My bag hangs in...

Pregnancy week 35: maternity leave just began

Image
Good morning, everyone! What a beautiful morning it is! It's nice and sunny here in Helsinki - can't believe this is the last week we'll live in this house. We're moving a week from tomorrow, how exciting! My maternity leave also just started and now I'm going on week 35 on my pregnancy. This week I'll have a doctor's appointment - last one before labor, yikes!! It all seems more and more real now, and it's very exciting (and scary, too, in someway) to realize our baby can be here any time now. I'm ready - as long as our moving process is near the end after next week ;) Easywalker Duo Now I have time to think (again) about the stroller. Can't decide what to do: I'm leaning towards the double stroller, maybe a Mountain Buggy Duet, but that's still a bit too expensive for me since I'm not sure how long I'd be using it. 700€ for a used one is a bit on the expensive side if you ask me, and that's what they've been asking...

Best double stroller: considering Emmaljunga Double Viking / 735

Image
Good morning! I've posted a lot about different strollers and have a few great ones in my mind. Not in my husband's mind though so that's a problem ;) Like I said, we did buy used Phil&Teds -strollers but they're kinda worn out so I'm gonna need new ones I can really count on. And by that I mean I want ones that are sturdy since I will be carrying my two little ones in those, after all. Also I kinda want my children to sit next to one another, and P&T doesn't work that way. Here's a site  I read and started my comparing process. The problem still is, there are just so many options out there in the 'stroller jungle', which makes my decision even harder. Bugaboo Anyway, I've become a Bugaboo fan after reading many reviews on them and sort grown into them: I want them. They have many good qualities I'm looking for, such as big tires, they're sturdy, have a big basket underseat for groceries and most important - they look nice....
