New job and getting ready for christmas

Image
Hey everyone! This fall I've been super busy with my job, kids being sick a lot and jugling between two different homes (for the kids, that is). Right now I've been at my new job for a little over a month now so everything's still new and I keep learning new things on everyday basis. It's very challenging yet exciting but also very demanding as I work as a project manager in a new field I'm not familiar with. As for now, my youngest son is sick at the moment with fever and staying home with me. So far I thank Paw patrol, gingerbread cookies and a kid with great sleeping skills ;) I mean, he slept for 1,5 hours yesterday while I had a meeting so thumbs up he'll manage to do the same today too :) *This post contains ads.* Christmas and holiday break is coming How's everyone's xmas plans this year? I just talked to my husband this morning (yes, the one that officially lives in his own place ;)) about santa claus and whether we should have him over on christ...

Divorcing but surprisingly falling for your ex?

New week and new challenges, every week! We had a really fun but relaxing - is it possible with three kids?! - weekend with seeing friends, sliding down the slopes and eating like there's no tomorrow :) And with that mixed with the title of this blog post, yes. The impossible is possible every now and the and miracles do happen even in our ordinary people's lives <3 Divorce - how it all started? Back in august, right after my birthday and getting back to work after my maternity leave, I filed for divorce. We've been married for seven years but things happened in the past few years and sadly this was inevitable. It was a shock to everyone, including my husband. It lead to selling our house together, finding a new area for our family with two different homes and separate - we rented a hotel room at Forenom and switched that and our home. It was really tough for us but definitely for our kids. So that was back in september to november and I finally moved to my new home in t...

Moving to a new home and a discount on moving

What a week it's been with moving in to a new home, packing and un-packing and finally making this my new home. New life as a single mom of three, bring it on!! *This blog post has ads.* Moving discount at Offerilla I started packing a week before my actual move which was the right choice with three kids and also I'm a working mom so time was limited. I wanted a moving firm to come and help me with mostly my furniture but also boxes and therefore I checked through major moving firms. The cost of moving kids beds, a kitchen table with four chairs, patio furniture and all the boxes varied from 400-1200€ euros. That was way more than my stuff cost since I didn't have a couch or a bed with me in my old home (those were delivered brand new from other places). So I googled some more and checked Offerilla  and they actually had a quite a few different deals under "Palvelut/Services" section. I chose 2 hour moving with two movers and a big truck from a firm called KokoRe...

It's still summer

Today's been such a beautiful and warm day so we've been outside all day. What a nice change compared to this past week with all the rain and the fact summer is over. Well, not quite :) We just walked to our closest mall called Sello, had lunch and then walked back - after we played at several different parks. L also got a new toy as we walked through a flea market (yay!) and he also got some other good, barely used toys. Days like this are the best - just hanging with my family :) Let's just hope this weather will last until the end of this month because long winter is ahead. Especially October and November are going to be sooo miserable..but let's not think about that yet. So my husband started at his new job this week and I was kinda worried how this week would go with two kids, on my own. Well it went so well and we had a good time. Parks, eating, naps..it's all about timing :) My husband and I also made a deal: If we lose enough weight until the end of Octobe...
