Absolutely no snow in sight which mskes this january feel even longer :( To make it brighter, I did some shopping and bought myself a new stroller: no other than Bugaboo buffalo as second hand purchase. Howdy everyone! Fall is here, actually for the second day since we had the best summer ever :) long summer, that is. Now it's finally getting cooler so it's time to check out new fall clothes. My favorite destination is  Bestseller  because they have clothes for everyone. My favorites are their maternity line, which includes mamalicious clothes, and nursing wear. What's your favorite? Right now I'm a fan of sweat pants and hoodies - either the ones you can nurse in (the hoodies of course :D) or the clothes that are suitable for babywearing. Those are always my favorite :) Other than shopping, my baby and I began babyyoga few weeks ago. I love it, it's great for my back and it's about last time to start doing it since this baby has started moving! At 7 months he's not too far from learning to walk, yikes :) we're also travelling to Greece next month and that makes me so excited! Happy wednesday!

Hey everyone! Hope y'all have had a wonderful weekend so far. Mine's been hanging with the family and doing things outdoors as the weather has been really nice with even sunshine :) My hopefully last pregnancy week 40 started yesterday and I gotta say, I'm more than ready to end this pregnancy and have my baby. I'm trying to spend as much time with my kiddos abd possibly some alone time since when the baby's here, I'll be occupied with him and less time for my other two. Yes, that's scary but knowing from previous experience it wont take that long until I'll be playing with them all. So today it was oldest son's turn and we made to Eemelin kirppis aka a local fleamarket nearby. Time flies - I'm almost half way through my pregnancy! We also found out we're having another boy so that kinda makes it more real :) I've been feeling much better, this second trimester sure is the best trimester so I've been able to workout (just a little) and run with my kiddos - not complaining at all :) This has been a busy week at work and this friday I have this super-important seminar (or webinar) coming up for 100 people online so that's kinda scary :) Not only speaking to that many people but the fact my older son had a stomach and is in fact at home with me right now. Luckily, it was a quick bug but let's hope it's not contagious so I wont catch it and then I have to cancel the seminar :( We also had a fun weekend last weekend since I turned 40 (middle-age, here I come!) and my parents had a garden-party for close family. Hey everyone! It's (again) been so long since I've written the last time and all I gotta say, time flies :) My littlest guy is very active and energetic whenever he's up so me-time is kinda limited these days. Not that I'm complaining - I love every second of it and especially because soon my days as a stay-at-home mom are over since I'll be going back to work: either next month or in January the very latest. My littlest guy will start at the same day-care center his older son goes to (yay!) and we'll start practicing early next month. Yikes!! I know, he's officially a toddler already but he'll (just like his older brother) will always be my babies <3 So what else is new? Good morning, everyone! What a lovely sunshine we have :) After all the rain and snow we still had this past weekend, it's finally time to welcome spring and eventually summer to Finland :) Yesterday kids and I spent 3 hours outdoors playing and biking, and it did warm up to 15 degrees which is a lot in here. This week it's supposed to get to 20 degrees, yay! And not only do I like the sun I also need the sun: baby and I woke up at 4.30 am this morning and the only way I managed to put him back to sleep was to put him in my Tula baby carrier. I can say he slept like a baby but it's kinda hard for me to sleep then, right?! Hey y'all! Wow, it's been a week since I wrote last time - time certainly flies :) My baby is 6 months old today, I just can't believe that. Feels like I just took him home. Today we (me and my kids) went to older older son's daycare to have morning porridge. It's a tradition here in Finland to have porridge in the morning, and at christmas time we eat this special porridge with cinnamon and sugar. Yummy! I also met my son's best friends dad, who's actually canadian so it's was so much fun to actually speak english for a while. Too bad, this best friend is quitting at the daycare and they are moving to another country :( Poor little L, he was so sad yesterday and will be super-sad when he goes back to his daycare after christmas break. Good morning (or afternoon, I may say)!! What a great way to wake up after a somewhat good night sleep :) We had a rough night with little L because when he goes to sleep, he always needs his mommy to tuck him in - and now I'm sort of occupied with the baby and I don't have enough time to do that. I feel so bad and he gets so sad and mad at the same time. Luckily he fell asleep in his own bed and slept through the night. This constant guilt is killing me :( Well, I guess it just takes time. Pregnancy week 34 just started today and my last week at work starts tomorrow. Five more days until my maternity leave!! Next week will be full of very last meetings, writing everything down for my substitute, having a goodbye party..kinda sad but also a relief since this spring hasn't been the best healthwise. And also, very exciting to actually start waiting for the new baby: he can arrive anytime, it's not too early anymore :) Although, let's hope he wont..I'm not ready yet (the move, remember). I'm also planning on seeing my best girlfriends in a week from tomorrow. We don't get to see each other that often anymore since many of us have kids and jobs but our friendship has lasted more than 20 years so these girls are very important to me. It's a sunny day outside and it's also getting warmer - goodbye, evil wind! We're heading to a Vappu market here in Huopalahti area, to a church (yes, our wedding church ) where they have a special vappu event. More sima drink, sausage, something sweet and even more vappu stuff, such as balloons. L got two balloons yesterday from my parents so..he wont need one but I'm sure we end up getting him more stuff. That's just us. We stayed home last night with my parents visiting us: eating, playing and just spending time together. That's how I like it. Hello everyone! It's a new work week ahead and seems like it's gonna be a sunny one, as well as short one - I have friday off :) Wednesday we have a team day which means we'll be working at a hotel in Helsinki - and having a big breakfast and lunch - perfect for a pregnant lady ;) And also fun to have the whole team at one place since we don't all see each other that often. I'm also getting back to the normal work week what comes to hours, and from next week on, I'll be working 100% again until my maternity leave begins in june. Makes life easier work-wise and also financially - let's all keep our fingers crossed that my husband will find a new job and soon :) I helped him this past weekend on the job hunt and found one potential one & he also applied for it, so..let's hope for the best. Hi everyone! It's finally friday, yay! I worked at my home office today because I had some writing to do which required some major focusing on - and I'm done :) We also found out that we wont be granted for a new loan, because of my husband's work situation, so that's it for now :( I'm not that surprised but hopefully things will get better soon and we'll be able to move - we desperately need a bigger place! All kinds of good things to buy, online or in store in many different cities in Finland, and the best thing is the atmosphere. Good morning, everyone! Good friday It's Good friday (Pitkäperjantai in finnish) and in Finland it's a common day off (and a long weekend, monday's off too) for most us. L had a easter costumer party at day care yesterday and he also brought home a traditional easter grass they made - cute! We also did our own easter grass at home and it turned out well - it sort of reminds me of the that spring is coming after the long winter. I love these traditions, as I've mentioned it before, and it's so cool my child gets to experience those too. So today's just for family time, eating, maybe taking a nap and going out for a walk and to the park to play. Good evening! My friday's been really good. First a quite productive day at work and got everything done on time what I was supposed to do. It's always comforting to start a weekend after day like that :) Then I went to pick up L from day care (the best part of my day, always) and go see an old friend of mine and her newborn son. I used to see this friend a lot 4-5 years ago when we were both single and basically had much more time to socialize than nowadays :) Then we both got married (not the same guy, hah haa!) and started a family and we all know how that works: if you don't keep in touch enough you just don't see your friends anymore. Sad but that's what happened. So we finally managed to see today after my work and it was so good to see her. And the baby..well, 4 weeks olds are very cute :) Thank god I'm already pregnant and gonna one of those on my own - too cute! And little. L seemed like a big guy compared to him so yes..tiny he was. Good evening! Today I had my pregnancy check up where they checked my blood pressure (normal), my weight (only 4 kg gained so far, yay!) and the size and height of my uterus. I'm glad I haven't gained too much weight yet because of my gestational diabetes - better keep an eye on the weight, and I sure have. What I was a little concerned about are contractions: I've been having those for a couple of days but let's hope they're just for practice and the baby will stay put for at least another..10 weeks? :) Other than that, I've had quite a busy day. Another seminar coming this week and lot's of things due this and next week so those will keep me busy.
