Spring is here and babywearing rocks!

Hey everyone! It's been over a month I wrote last time and time sure flies! Baby's already 2,5 months old, springtime with nice weather has come to Finland and babywearing has won the competition against strollers :) I'm not complaining though since baby's still so small and it's easy to carry him around everywhere and I don't have to carry my double stroller to anywhere. To be honest, my mountain buggy duet double stroller is more like a closet these days, collecting all the dust and no one sitting on it :) I gotta say my Tula Free-to-grow carrier has been a life saver and worth every penny!! I also bought second-hand Liliputi mama babywearing jacket and an angelwings babywearing hoodie, and they're perfect! I totally recommend a babywearing jacket if you have more than one child - makes life so much easier. That being said my little E is waking up from his Tula-nap. Adios, everyone!

Hey everyone! It's finally nice here in Finland as in there's no rain in sight for today :) It's weird to have this some what warm weather in November as we're used to having snow by this time. In a way that's nice since I still haven't bought me a nice maternity jacket that would serve as a babywearing jacket as well and would keep me warm in the winter. What winter? :) That's why I have to introduce you the selection of maternity jackets at Bestseller . They have a big range of different kinds of 3-1 maternity jackets that go from being pregnant with a separate pregnancy insert to a babywearing insert to carry your baby in a sling etc. and work just as well as a normal jacket after those phases. I picked this softshell 3-1 jacket and so far I've used it as a normal jacket without the insert in the beginning of my pregnancy and now with the insert. 3-1 softshell jacket at Bestseller. I like it because the material is a bit stretchy, keeps you...

Babywearing with a toddler in a Vero Moda wool jacket

Sunny but cold wednesday to you all! It's getting colder here in Finland but today we're experiencing something different: sunshine. It's supposed to snow tomorrow, brrr, so I had to go and buy new clothes for me and my kids. I still carry my younger son every now and then, so I decided I'm not gonna buy a babywearing jacket (because they're so expensive) but I do need something that can occasionally fit my child in it. And just like that, I found a perfect winter coat with wool-blend in it and in a nice grey colour (in one of those 50 shades of grey, hahaa..anyway)! This one, of which I posted a pic on my instagram account, fits almost perfectly over me and my little one. I mean, my little one is already 1year and 4 months old, and it still fits us :) The best part in this jacket is that it has a cover over my neck/between me and my baby so no wind can go under my jacket and freeze us. That's what even most babywearing jacket don't have (and I've had...

When buying stuff second-hand is not worth it

Good (rainy) morning, everyone! I am a big fan of second-hand, as many of you know it if you have read my blog since the very beginning. Not only because you save some money buying stuff second-hand but there are other good reasons too. You just don't always need to buy everything new, its just a thing for me. Anyway, not going any further on this, but I recently purchased a babywearing jacket online, and by that I mean I got it as a used one. Second-hand, that is. It was one of those quite expensive ones so I thought I should definitely get it because I wasn't sure how long I was gonna wear it. Everything seemed fine, I paid it and got it home. Baby and I went for a walk as I wanted to try my new purchase in real action, as to say it, and went to a nearby mall. So what happened, the alarm started beeping REALLY loud as I walked in to the store. I was a bit confused and embarrassed, of course, because I did not want anyone to think I had stolen anything. It made that same a...

Today I had quite the adventure with my youngest son as we travelled to the other side of Espoo, which is the town where we live in Finland. I bought an Ergo carrier as second hand and this lady sent it to a different place where I had to pick it up. Usually I pick them at a local store just a few minutes away from my home but today I travelled for an hour one way, thanks to that great public transportation we have here in Espoo ;) Actually, to be honest, it was kinda fun to go somewhere I don't usually ...
