Fall's here with cooler weather and rain, and it's that time again when you need to think again what to wear (bikini's aren't enough :)), how to take your kids to playground or to daycare and do I need a babycarrier or a new stroller. Luckily my older kids ride their bikes to daycare and my youngest son - now 7 months old - travels everywhere under my babywearing jacket. So no stroller really needed! But then again, winter's coming too and here in Finland you need a stroller with big tires and the streets are slippery so maybe a stroller could be on my shopping list. Hey everyone! Hauck duett 2 On this rainy day I decided I needed to share my newest investment - Hauck duett 2 double stroller :) It's super narrow, not too long, works super well with two kids that are different ages, has puncture-free tires and has a large shopping basket underneath. What's most important to me is that upper seat is reversible and you can use it as a carrycot for newborn or as a seat. And you can switch that while on the go which is super great with a baby that sleeps a lot but while awake wants to see so you can just tilt the seat (like on a Bugaboo stroller) and ta-daa - you have a happy babe! And if use a car a lot these are so easy to fold and wont take too much space on your trunk. Genious! Honestly, these are only 299€ at the moment so this is a steal! Hey everyone! I just had an awesome weekend: on friday my friends had their 40 year party and our kids stayed at their grandparents overnight so that meant staying out longer (until 11 pm!) and sleeping in much longer (until 8am!!) Momlife, you know :D Not only that, my husband and I were able to do grocery shopping on saturday morning, in no hurry. Of course, I missed my boys like hell but you know - sometimes you just need your alone time with your hubby. No kids. And what even better, everything had gone just about right as in kids slept through the night and no crying over 'where's my mommy/daddy' -kinda things. Perfect :) We're so lucky & blessed to have grandparents in our lives <3 Yesterday, on sunday, kids and I went out with and they had their bikes and then to the park and back. Hello everyone! Sun is shining and I'm about to go out for a long walk since my little guy just fell asleep to an early nap. So a while ago I wrote about double stroller which is a topic close to me because as a mother of two wild boys, I need to have a seat for them every now and then. I'm a big fan of double strollers that have seats next to each other (like Bugaboo donkey duo or Easywalker duo have) but I don't like their width. It's almost impossible to go anywhere with them, especially to a bus so I had to change them to a Phil & Teds strollers which is super narrow but I just don't like them at all. Why? Because kids here in winter wonderland tend to have to wear lot's of clothing so it's almost impossible to put them in the stroller - especially the one sitting in the lower seat. Good morning, everyone! What a lovely sunshine we have :) After all the rain and snow we still had this past weekend, it's finally time to welcome spring and eventually summer to Finland :) Yesterday kids and I spent 3 hours outdoors playing and biking, and it did warm up to 15 degrees which is a lot in here. This week it's supposed to get to 20 degrees, yay! And not only do I like the sun I also need the sun: baby and I woke up at 4.30 am this morning and the only way I managed to put him back to sleep was to put him in my Tula baby carrier.
