Fall accessories for babywearing, strollers and everything else!

Image
Hey everyone! Fall's here with cooler weather and rain, and it's that time again when you need to think again what to wear (bikini's aren't enough :)), how to take your kids to playground or to daycare and do I need a babycarrier or a new stroller. Luckily my older kids ride their bikes to daycare and my youngest son - now 7 months old - travels everywhere under my babywearing jacket. So no stroller really needed! But then again, winter's coming too and here in Finland you need a stroller with big tires and the streets are slippery so maybe a stroller could be on my shopping list. That's why I listed some of my favorite items so feel free to check them out and get them if you feel they're useful to you :)Warning: contains ads. Babywearing I love babywearing and Hoppediz has this alternative for a babycarrier, a Hop-Tye Buckle . It's soft as a sling but easy as a carrier, and it's adjustable so it goes from newborn to a toddler.  Double str...

What sells second hand and how to sell it

Hello, long time no see! :) It's been a while since I wrote last time and that's just because time is kinda short these days with a crazy toddler and almost-walking baby, aka almost toddler (yikes!) So when I actually have time just for me, I tend to stare at the wall and not do anything for good 10 minutes :D Sounds bad but it certainly isn't as I truly enjoy this stage of life. As many of you know, I love second hand shopping and selling my stuff as well. Especially kids stuff, namely strollers, babywearing stuff and clothes every now and then. So what sells? That's a good question and as I don't have an answer to that, I do have some good pointers and here's my list: Strollers . If they're brand names, such as Bugaboo or Babyzen (especially yoyo) - brands "everyone's talking about" - it's always easy to sell them. Of course, what counts are, are they still in good shape, kept in the house (no mold in it, please), how old they are (q...

New clothes for kids and one tired mama

Image
Good morning! What a night we had..our baby is finally (night 2) learning to sleep in his own bed instead of sleeping next to me, and last night he did sleep until 3.30 am. But what a nightmare after that: screaming and crying for half an hour, which felt like eternity at that time :( Luckily he did go back to sleep after that and I did too. Cannot wait to sleep all night - one of these days, I'm sure :) But I gotta say - I'm one tired mama :D Everytime I'm tired (ok, almost daily), I need to shop. That kinda makes me feel better. I posted about Aarrekid a while ago on February which is a finnish children's clothing brand. They have the cutest clothes for little ones and after this looong winter it's nice to buy new stuff for your little ones. You know, something lighter and brighter. This is definitely something you should look out for if you're in need of new clothes :) Okay, it's time to go outside where it's raining (boring!) and go do grocery...

Children's summer clothes on sale at Ellos and pregnancy week 34 begins

Pregnancy week 34 just started today and my last week at work starts tomorrow. Five more days until my maternity leave!! Next week will be full of very last meetings, writing everything down for my substitute, having a goodbye party..kinda sad but also a relief since this spring hasn't been the best healthwise. And also, very exciting to actually start waiting for the new baby: he can arrive anytime, it's not too early anymore :) Although, let's hope he wont..I'm not ready yet (the move, remember). I'm also planning on seeing my best girlfriends in a week from tomorrow. We don't get to see each other that often anymore since many of us have kids and jobs but our friendship has lasted more than 20 years so these girls are very important to me. Very excited of that too! I have a feeling it's gonna be a babyshower but I hope they wont put too much effort on it: I'm just happy to see them all. Today was a lazy day for our family. We did go see the hospit...
