Summer vacation ideas with Ikaalisten matkatoimisto

June is here and it's time to think about summer vacation ideas in Finland and in baltics.  Ikaalisten matkatoimisto  has once again the best valued summer vacation and in general travel ideas for my family, mainly in Estonia since we're not  travelling far away from Finland this summer. We've usually stayed in Tallinn in a spa-hotel which is perfect with kids. There aren't too many outdoor playgrounds in Tallinn but our kids need activities and therefore a spa with kiddy pools are a must :) and mommy & daddy like Estonia so it's a match ;) Ikaalisten matkatoimisto  Ikaalisten matkatoimisto has many spa-hotels in their selection varying from family-friendly to more luxurious ones, and our top-choice over the years has been Meriton conference & spa hotel. We always travel to Estonia via a ferry so it's either a Viking Line or Silja Line and it takes usually from 2-3 hours from Helsinki to Tallinn. Meriton conference & spa hotel is about 30 min walk fr...

Happy new year 2020 and Viking Line trip to Stockholm!

Hey everyone, it's new year 2020!! How are you all? New year and getting back to normal  I'm doing good; 2/3 of my boys returned back to day care today and I gotta say I enjoyed some quiet time with my youngest son after all that craziness ;) We did some necessary grocery shopping (haven't been able to do that since all of them were home 24/7), ate an un-healthy lunch at Hesburger (I'll start dieting next week..some year ;)) and then walked home while baby fell asleep. That walk was necessary since my back been aching and I really hope it wont get to the point I can't move or get out of bed cause that has happened before and it's no joke then. Anyway, just a regular day but I really enjoyed some down time. It's a 24/7 job taking care of 3 boys, I'm telling you! Going back to work or starting a new business? I'm still not sure what's happening with me going back to work and when since I found out my old job doesn't exist anymore. I...

Easter vacation in Baltic countries with Ikaalisten matkatoimisto

Hey everyone! Spring is on it's way and it's time to start planning on a easter vacation - if that's the case. And that is, indeed, the case in our family so we started going through different options mainly in Estonia. Our last trip to Lanzarote didn't go that well what comes to flying 6 hours with two under 3 so we decided flying isn't an option this time :) Going to estonia is super easy: you can take your car with you in the ferry and pack everything & beyond in your car. Easy, that's the key when travelling with the kids. So you drive your car in the ferry, get out of the car during the trip - which only takes from 1,5-3 hrs the most - and you can actually enjoy the trip. There's so much to do in the ferry with certain play areas for kids and eating is also easy with kid-friendly coffees and restaurants on boat. Then you get to Estonia and drive where ever your destination is, and usually that destination is only 1-3 hours away from the harbour...
