Back to work and looking for new home with best homeloan

Image
Hey everyone! Back to normal It's already mid-august and I've been back to work for a week now, wow! So I guess this blog's emphasis is now more on work instead of babies :) It does feel good to be back at work and have something for just myself - even though I loved being a stay-at-home mom but still - everyone needs a break every now and then, right? What's coming up this fall too (I hope) is a new home for our family: we desperately need more rooms since our family's grown and we now have pre-schooler in our household who already needs his own space.  But with this corona-time and the lack of decent houses we have time to look for that special one and while doing that, we have time to find the best homeloan we can possibly find :)  * This blog post contains an ad*. Finding the best homeloan Finding the best homeloan for your family is tricky and time-consuming. First to apply to several different banks and fill out long applications to even get noticed and be ab...

Sick child, Reima outerwear and working mama - quite the combo!

Hey everyone!  It's been a while since I've posted anything but that's because we've literally been sick from january until now :( To be more spesific, my youngest one has been sick with stomach flu, flu and now with earinfection - in his both ears!! He's been up all nite long since it's been too hard to sleep through the night, poor little one. Luckily after been in and out of health center, which did nothing good in trying to find out what's wrong with him, we finally got an insurance for him and took him to a private doctor's. Now he's already feeling so much better, thanks to this super-talented doctor :) I hate when my kids are in pain! Outerwear at Reima  Sorry about a whiny start on this post! Other than being sick for weeks, it's been raining almost all the time which is not fine. Thank god for online shops like  Reima  who offer the best quality outer wear for kids, my older kids have so far stayed healthy (fingers crossed that...

Hey everyone, it's new year 2020!! How are you all? New year and getting back to normal  I'm doing good; 2/3 of my boys returned back to day care today and I gotta say I enjoyed some quiet time with my youngest son after all that craziness ;) We did some necessary grocery shopping (haven't been able to do that since all of them were home 24/7), ate an un-healthy lunch at Hesburger (I'll start dieting next week..some year ;)) and then walked home while baby fell asleep. That walk was necessary since my back been aching and I really hope it wont get to the point I can't move or get out of bed cause that has happened before and it's no joke then. Anyway, just a regular day but I really enjoyed some down time. It's a 24/7 job taking care of 3 boys, I'm telling you! Going back to work or starting a new business? I'm still not sure what's happening with me going back to work and when since I found out my old job doesn't exist anymore. I...

Pros and cons on working part-time & new travel stroller [at] Lekmer!

Good afternoon, everyone! Sun is shining here in Finland but at the same time it's really cold. -18 degrees this morning, brrr! I'm so glad I get to work from home every now and then :) And hey let's talk a little about work. I returned back to work in january to work as a project manager but only part-time which in my case means fridays are off. Kids are either at home with me or it's my time to go to the gym (the only time I get to go there during the week) or just run errands. I know, you can judge me: why the hell my kids are at day-care if I'm at home? Well, you see, mama needs her own time as well and my kids really enjoy the day-care. So the pros are: - I do have my own-time, "me-time" to take care of my self - kids can stay home with me if they want to (usually they don't!) or if they're sick, I won't miss a day at work - my house is always clean on fridays. Not too much on saturdays but hey, that's another story ;) - 4-da...

Back to work and facing new challenges as a working mom

Hey everyone! It's been a crazy month so far: I returned back to work from my maternity leave and my youngest son (aka 'the baby') started at daycare - full time. I gotta say, things are slowly getting better and we're all adjusting to this change but it surely has had an impact on all of us. Boys are very tired at night after daycare and so am I. I'm used to spending my days outdoors, not indoors, and that makes me tired! I mean, I pretty much do the same stuff at the same project as a project manager but things have gone forward so I do need to take the time and learn new stuff. But all in all, things are going well :) What actually surpised me was that how easily (and fast!) days would go. My husband takes the kids to daycare in the morning and I get to leave for work at 7 am so I'm there early and therefore get to leave early in order to pick up my kids early. So days go really fast, not to mention I have meetings 90% of my worktime. I only work 4 days a...
