Hey everyone from self-quarantine day 1234567890! Or something like that - at least that's how it feels like right now ;)  * This post contains ads.* No kidding or joking about it for sure since it's very important for everyone to stay home and stay healthy in self-quarantine but man it does feel like forever! Especially with kids around wanting to go play to indoor play-areas and not wanting to go out and play - it's a constant battle. Daddy's still working remotely from home, just like so many other mom's and dad's (kudos to you!!) Kids could go to day care, as it's not forbidden but highly recommended to stay at home, and for now this suggestion here in Finland goes all the way until may 13. We'll see how this goes, and if kids are recommended to go back to day care this spring at all. Hey everyone! Happy thursday, despite the awful weather we have here in Finland. It's grey, water dripping but luckily not raining that hard and it's just one of those mornings when you just wanna stsy in bed all day. I actually napped yesterday with my little one which is something I never do. But felt so good after! And after summer sales and between christmas sales, there's mid-season sales everywhere :) I always go for these because I like saving money, that's all and with my somewhat huge family here in Finland, saving money is my top priority these days. Hey y'all! Winter is finally here for good (or at least for this week) and we've got tons of snow! Love it, makes everything look so much better :) It seems (or at least for this week) we're done with the flu :D Yay! What kind of surpises me is that I didn't catch it so call me the lucky one. I also started thinking my about my health in the big picture and how it all comes down to taking care of my kids. If I ever get really really sick, who's gonna take care of them? I mean, besides my husband of course. I turn 40 in the end of this summer so I really need to take good care of my health in order to keep up with my growing little boys. That made me go further so I joined the gym yesterday, and today I'll intend going there and start working out. Hello, everyone! Weeks are going so fast it's almost impossible to remember post anything but here I am :) This week has been the worst in a while: my both kids got sick last week, and that required me to stay at home with one of them. Of course that's what I do but I just hate calling in sick after being at work for less than 2 weeks :) But it is what it is and luckily grandparents came in to help us - yay for them :) So after this horrible week I decided I'm in for a treat. Hey everyone! Our wintervacation is getting to its end and actually today I'm at home just with my baby - toddler is at grandparents overnight and to be honest, this kinda feels like a vacation to me too :D Only one child at home, who's sleeping at the moment. Sometimes these moments are the best - although, I have to say, I miss my toddler like hell. Mixed feelings, huh?! Anyway, I usually just open my laptop (start blogging etc.) or I'll shop. It's finally beginning to feel like spring is finally just around the corner - it's super sunny outside and not too cold either. I don't mind cold weather as long as it's sunny outside. I feel like I have so much more energy getting up and I blame the sun for that :) Talking about spring, for me it means new, bright clothes and less clothes for sure. After wearing dark and heavy clothes all winter it really is time for something new. This time I'll introduce you Aarrekid which is a Finnish children's clothing brand. Good afternoon! How are you all? I'm good, had a relatively good nights sleep and therefore the day's looking bright :) Even though it's not that bright what comes to the weather - it's not sunny at all. Maybe our summer continues again next week? My parents came over to our house yesterday and I have to say it felt like a day off; I only had one child, the baby, to take care off as L was playing with my dad / his grandpa. What a relaxing afternoon we had! I even had the time to drink my coffee out on the terrace without any interruptions - perfect. That is all I need every now and then. And I do enjoy to spend time with my son but sometimes mommy just needs a few minutes to herself and then feels so much better :) Yes, that's what sleep deprivation does to you. Hello everyone! I've been cleaning all morning (and updating my blog, surprise surprise) and soon we'll go for a walk - it's L:s naptime soon. I ordered some things for him from Lekmer for his birthday and now they're ready for pick up. Yay! I have one thing I wanted to write about and it's the new maternity package from Kela.
