Good friday

It's Good friday (Pitkäperjantai in finnish) and in Finland it's a common day off (and a long weekend, monday's off too) for most us. L had a easter costumer party at day care yesterday and he also brought home a traditional easter grass they made - cute! We also did our own easter grass at home and it turned out well - it sort of reminds me of the that spring is coming after the long winter. I love these traditions, as I've mentioned it before, and it's so cool my child gets to experience those too.
So today's just for family time, eating, maybe taking a nap and going out for a walk and to the park to play. All the shops are closed today so really, today's a 'take it easy' -day for most of us :)

 Hey everyone! It's been a long time since I've posted anything but so much has happened: I switched to a new job, spent summer with my kids, got divorced and catch covid-19. Yes, things happen mixing good and bad things but that's how life works. Can't always choose what happens next! I've been so good at dodging the covid bullet but this time I could not and it actually me and my boys. I'm fortunately fully vaccinated so I'm good but the boys haven't but they're still doing ok and have luckily only mild symptoms. We're staying in the house for now so no super markets, gym, day care or school, and not really meeting any people. I'm working remotely from home and kids are relatively calm due to the illness. Spring is on its way!

 Hey there! Time sure flies as I realized it's been a while since I wrote here last time which was in december ;) Oh well, after all the fluseason and darkseason here up north, I feel like I'm finally starting to feel more energetic. Spring is on its way! I started on a new job last october and I just that was more than 4 months ago :) This new job is totally different compared to my old job so there's been a lot of studying - after work as well but absolutely at work. All the programs and just the culture; the way people act at work and what approriate and what's not requires some learning. I've also taken courses and actually got my IPMA-C program management certification the other day. Very rewarding to see the results! So far I'm liking this job a lot and mostly I think it's because I don't know anything about it ;) No I mean, this learning new stuff -phase is great.
