Planning a short summer vacation with kids in Finland

It's time to think about a little trip with our family: a road trip somewhere in Finland. Yes, nothing too stressful and especially not too far :) Since I'm breastfeeding we need several stops along the way plus baby can't sit on a car seat for too long (because he can't sit yet) so we're literally making a 2 hr trip to a (at least) 6 hr trip ;) Yes, good times.

We're thinking about travelling to Tampere which is only 2 hrs (I mean, 6 hrs for us) away from Espoo. Just 2 nights in a hotel and maybe going for the sites they have - such as Särkänniemi. That place should entertain our 2 year old just fine :) For accommodation (hotel) I already checked Booking and ebookers. Radisson Blu -hotel also usually has good summer deals and I'm especially looking for those for the family. I think it's gonna rain next week so we need a good hotel and lot's of stuff to do there in case we're stuck in there.

So this is our very short summer vacation this summer - it is all we can do right now. L starts his summer vacation today meaning today's his last day at day care so far and he'll be home all august.  Hey everyone! It's been a long time since I've posted anything but so much has happened: I switched to a new job, spent summer with my kids, got divorced and catch covid-19. Yes, things happen mixing good and bad things but that's how life works. Can't always choose what happens next! I've been so good at dodging the covid bullet but this time I could not and it actually me and my boys. I'm fortunately fully vaccinated so I'm good but the boys haven't but they're still doing ok and have luckily only mild symptoms. I ran fever for few days, my throat hurts and I have a semi-runny nose - but that's it. We're staying in the house for now so no super markets, gym, day care or school, and not really meeting any people. I'm working remotely from home and kids are relatively calm due to the illness. Carena Kobbe travel stroller on sale + more sale items at Lekmer!

Hey everyone! Summer is coming, believe or not, and many of you may already have plans for your summer vacation. Everyone travelling with kids know that you always have so much stuff with you: all the luggage, travel stroller (or two) and all those carry on bags - that's a lot with crazy, running away kids :) My opinion these days is that if you have even just one idea that can save your nerves (and muscles), take it :D I know, I've talked about these so many times so why not this time too? Mountain buggy duet sisarusrattaat alessa!

This post is only in finnish this time :) Mukavaa sunnuntaita kaikille! "Tämä postaus on poikkeuksellisesti vain suomeksi ja se sisältää mainoslinkkejä. Näppärää, mutta edelleen se lumi: meillä siis Britax b-agilen matkarattaat ja noilla renkailla ei kyllä yhtään huvita tarpoa eteenpäin lumessa. Keskimmäistä varten niissä on seisomalauta, joka olikin kesällä käytössä mutta jotenkin nyt säiden kylmettyä 3v tahtoo istuimen.
