Winter break inspo

 Hey everyone! 

Sun is shining here in Finland and it's almost time for a winter break! Have you already booked a vacation, locally of course, due to the pandemic? We certainly have and are heading to Vierumäki resort very soon!! How exciting!

Renting a cabin

We rented a cabin and I can honestly recommend Lomarengas if you wish to rent one too. I say this is somewhat the safest way to spend a winter break as we're gonna dry there with our own car, stay in a cabin which is rented just for our family and spend time just as a family. Yes, there will be other winter breakers as well, not just us, but we do remember to keep our distance from other people and avoid crowded places. We really need this break due to the divorce setting (which is about to get cancelled but kids still do have two different homes) but also the pandemic. I wouldn't travel anywhere with a plane and I'm just gonna stay in my home country and I'm avoiding just about anything and everything to keep that awful virus away from me and my family but I still do need to have a life. I hope everyone knows what I mean <3
That being said, I'm more than excited of this little winter break we're taking! A little break from the usual, away from the job and time spent with my loved ones - sounds about perfect! :) Skiing, walking and sliding down the hill, eating good home cooked meals, going to a sauna to warm up and sleeping well.

Ok I had to make a collage of these maqnificent cabins that are all located here in Finland. Don't they all look wonderful?! Okay, I had to add some pictures of summer cabins cause that's what I'm really looking forward to. Summer in a lakehouse sounds perfect to me with swimming, going to a sauna, fishing, preparing meals from the fish and going to the forest to pick berries. Gotta love summer!

So go ahead and book your own trip if that's what you've been thinking of. I sure did and can't wait for my winter break to start in a few weeks :)

And in the meanwhile as I'm waiting for my break to start, my youngest son is apparently getting sick as he has a runny nose. God dammit, not again! I'm guessing it's another ear-infection - last time we had it about 4 weeks ago and did take a covid-19 test but obviously he didn't have it. It was "just" the ear-infection but I guess it returned to our life. Oh boy..

 Hey everyone! It's been a long time since I've posted anything but so much has happened: I switched to a new job, spent summer with my kids, got divorced and catch covid-19. Yes, things happen mixing good and bad things but that's how life works. Can't always choose what happens next! I've been so good at dodging the covid bullet but this time I could not and it actually me and my boys. I'm fortunately fully vaccinated so I'm good but the boys haven't but they're still doing ok and have luckily only mild symptoms. I ran fever for few days, my throat hurts and I have a semi-runny nose - but that's it. We're staying in the house for now so no super markets, gym, day care or school, and not really meeting any people. I'm working remotely from home and kids are relatively calm due to the illness. And since I've had more time at home and going through all the online stores finding the perfect down duvet on sale, I did find one at Hemtex .

Carena Kobbe travel stroller on sale + more sale items at Lekmer!

Hey everyone! Summer is coming, believe or not, and many of you may already have plans for your summer vacation. Everyone travelling with kids know that you always have so much stuff with you: all the luggage, travel stroller (or two) and all those carry on bags - that's a lot with crazy, running away kids :) My opinion these days is that if you have even just one idea that can save your nerves (and muscles), take it :D I know, I've talked about these so many times so why not this time too? Lekmer has all their Carena Kobbe travel strollers on sale which are similar to Babyzen yoyo travel stroller what comes to their size but are much cheaper compared to yoyo. We're not sure what we're doing this summer since we go back and forth with our summer plans. Mountain buggy duet sisarusrattaat alessa!

This post is only in finnish this time :) Mukavaa sunnuntaita kaikille! "Tämä postaus on poikkeuksellisesti vain suomeksi ja se sisältää mainoslinkkejä. Ulkona tulee räntää ainakin espoon suunnalla ja meidän pojat jo kovasti odottaa talvea, lunta ja sitä myöten tietenkin joulua :) Itse aloin pohtia, miten pärjään talven matkarattailla, jotka nyt olleet etenkin autoillessa eniten käytössä koska niihin saa britax turvakaukalon kiinni. Näppärää, mutta edelleen se lumi: meillä siis Britax b-agilen matkarattaat ja noilla renkailla ei kyllä yhtään huvita tarpoa eteenpäin lumessa. Keskimmäistä varten niissä on seisomalauta, joka olikin kesällä käytössä mutta jotenkin nyt säiden kylmettyä 3v tahtoo istuimen. Mountain buggy duet tarjouksessa 499,90€ Sen takia olen taas pohtinut tuplaratasasiaa suuntaan ja toiseen, ja melkein jo päädyin ostamaan käytetyt Mountain buggy duet v3 Sisarusrattaat hintaan 350€.
