Summer vacation ideas with kids

 Summer is finally here and it's been a hot start this year here in Finland! :) I am not complaining, just sweating a lot ;) I still have to work for another 2,5 weeks and then I'm off for five weeks, yay! Let's all hope the weather is gonna stay at least decent for that time :) I may have some changes in the work in august-september so this long summer vacation is very much needed and earned. *This post contains ads in links*.

Summer vacation ideas listed

As usual, our family vacation plans this summer are still open in the air - partly due to the pandemic (which is hopefully fading away) but mostly because I just don't have the time to book any trip. So what are the best summer vacation ideas with kids in the family? Just like last year, we're vacationing only here in Finland.  Here are some of my favorites listed:

  • Naantalin kylpylä - spa & hotel which is close to Moominworld and a definite hit for young kids. Naantali city is so beautiful in the summer; old town and the harbour with yachts - a must see this summer. 
  • Lomarengas - a site that has summer cabins listed all in one page to choose from. That is if you wanna rent a cabin near lake and want to enjoy some peace and quite then this is a great option for you. And they have all kinds of cabins to choose from moderate to lux-type of cabins so go check it out.
  • Offerilla - a site that has not only vacation ideas and discounts but also things to do while on vacation, such as restaurant savings, things to do for families and products to buy. Summer can get expensive for families, especially with kids, so if there's something you can save with then go with it :) At least that's what I try to do. 
  • Forenom - if you're trying to find inexpensive but clean and modern place to stay for example in a city, then this is for you. They have fully furnished apartment-type places to stay in different cities and even for longer periods of time. This is a great way to travel on budget!
  • Ferratum - you can easily apply for a lone if needed because sometimes in life that's needed. Check out the link for proper explanation on the lone!

 Hey everyone! It's been a long time since I've posted anything but so much has happened: I switched to a new job, spent summer with my kids, got divorced and catch covid-19. Yes, things happen mixing good and bad things but that's how life works. Can't always choose what happens next! I've been so good at dodging the covid bullet but this time I could not and it actually me and my boys. I'm fortunately fully vaccinated so I'm good but the boys haven't but they're still doing ok and have luckily only mild symptoms. I ran fever for few days, my throat hurts and I have a semi-runny nose - but that's it. We're staying in the house for now so no super markets, gym, day care or school, and not really meeting any people. I'm working remotely from home and kids are relatively calm due to the illness. Carena Kobbe travel stroller on sale + more sale items at Lekmer!

Hey everyone! Summer is coming, believe or not, and many of you may already have plans for your summer vacation. Everyone travelling with kids know that you always have so much stuff with you: all the luggage, travel stroller (or two) and all those carry on bags - that's a lot with crazy, running away kids :) My opinion these days is that if you have even just one idea that can save your nerves (and muscles), take it :D I know, I've talked about these so many times so why not this time too? Mountain buggy duet sisarusrattaat alessa!

This post is only in finnish this time :) Mukavaa sunnuntaita kaikille! "Tämä postaus on poikkeuksellisesti vain suomeksi ja se sisältää mainoslinkkejä. Näppärää, mutta edelleen se lumi: meillä siis Britax b-agilen matkarattaat ja noilla renkailla ei kyllä yhtään huvita tarpoa eteenpäin lumessa. Keskimmäistä varten niissä on seisomalauta, joka olikin kesällä käytössä mutta jotenkin nyt säiden kylmettyä 3v tahtoo istuimen.
